I have never harrassed the locals.I have always been greeted with open arms. Although some say different the locals have opened there hearts and homes to my family. Really? OK. Great. A real lovefest. Sincerely I am glad to hear that all the locals are good, kind, helpful people. I'm not being sarcastic. No argument here. Good night.

citigirl wrote: <quoted text> Wowzer I had given this info to the PI.s many years back. I was told that any info that was turned over to them they passed it along to LE whom was investigating the case. Any info that was ever passed along to us or Fred he would contact LE to what ever our findings were.So wowzer I did not wait all these years. It went through the proper channels before it went on a public forum. So are you saying it took 7 years to go thru the proper channels and you are just now making this information public on this forum? Is this what you are saying or am I mistaken?

The little I know is based upon working with K9 teams as a groundpounder/medical/navigati on/man-tracker and some other types of work. I have been the subject of searches in their tests and have watched them train. My understanding is that the dog is never confused, its the handler that gets confused and can't read or misses the dogs signals. There are procedures to establish finding a lost scent. If it was NL who was the searcher with her dog. I am aware of her and I trust the knowledge she has of her dog and the ability to search a scent and knows how to find a lost scent. If her dog didn't pick it up, which it appears she didn't. I would trust that there was no scent to recover at the point she stopped. Considering the age of the scent and amount of disturbance in the area it probably isn't a surprise that the dog lost the scent. Or it could be because Maura got a ride. Just like everything in this case, there is more than one possibility. Just my opinion, Bill

And how can you accuse me of throwing out red herrings? When in fact Im only going out to try to find out where and what happened to Maura. How many times have you gone to NH looking and searching for Maura and talking with people in the area that she vanished from without a trace to tell me what Im posting is just a red herring? Snowey you have not answered any of my questions. I would deeply appreciate a response to the questions I have asked of you in this posting. Thank you Citigirl.

I had talked to PI,s long before the 06 search as to what I was told on the night Maura disappeared. They knew everthing about what was said to me about the person walking near the Eddys on that night as well as the person that was seen walking on112 toward 302 on that night. I have never stated it was Maura. Just saying what I was told by reliable sources whom went to the scene that night. Citigirl do you really want us to believe that on the night Maura disappeared you and the PI's knew there were two people walking around the area and nothing was said about it until tonight, 7 years later?? IMO I think you're full of bull doo doo.

I chose not to put it on a public forum back then because it is my family member that is missing and not yours. I want her found no matter what the publics opinion is.

Snowy I traveled up north for 3 and a half years searching as to where and what happened to Maura after she disappeared and talking with people up there. So dont tell me I have recently showed up here to try to find out where and what happened to Maura. You dont know what I did and did not do. You are only a poster making a judgement against me. But yet you have never walked in my shoes. My number one priority is to find Maura. Not to please a public forum. Oblivoisy you have never had to deal with the fact that a loved one has just vanished into thin air. Trust me it is a nightmare.

Thank you Citigirl. i believe i once asked what is your direct relationship to MM some time ago; still waiting for that answer. in addition, no one representing the Murray family has ever explained why they have not only failed to intervene when obvious lies, misinformation and red herrings have been evident on this site, but have encouraged all manner of storytelling to prevent relevant facts from being revealed.

Hmmmm. So someone close to the Murray family is coming to Topix, years later, to try to find out what happened to Maura? That's a laugh.

Through the years we've heard about a red truck with MA plates at the store, a story about a pickup on BH Rd, a person with a hoodie seen several miles away in Woodsville and many other things that were either seen or heard but something as important as a person/persons seen walking in the area on the night that Maura went missing was kept under wraps all these years. It doesn't take over 7 years to go thru proper channels. I have to wonder why citigirl is coming out with all this new information now. And I noticed she says it's just what she was told and she doesn't know if it's true. Good way to cover your butt. Well why repeat it then if there's a question it might not be true. Is Renner stirring up a hornets nest? Will the red herrings start flying?
