WTH-the-original wrote: <quoted text> I thought the dog used was from NEK9 but I could be wrong. I was familiar with the person and her dog by reputation back then. So much of what has been said in this case is speculation. You are correct of course. Most dogs, are air-scent and air-scent dogs can be far from where the person actually walked because of course they track scent that is on the air. Dogs that work with their noses in the dirt typically track where the person walked or very close but I don't think that was the kind of dog used in this case. It appears from what we were told, years ago that a scent article was used but air-scent or ground scent I don't know for certain. Bill WTH do you have any idea as to what would make the dog act confused? Thank you

If BA was in his bus during the incident then maura must have gone west if she left on foot. Ba was said to have gone looking for her down french pond road after she was reported missing. He must have known she didn't go by him or had other reasonings to go there

I was also told by a reliable source that was at the scene on that night that they had seen someone walking near the Eddys on that night as well as another person whom was on there way to the seen had stated that they had seen someone walking on 112 toward 302. Im not stating that it was Maura only what they had said they had seen. They had also stated to me when looking at the car that a specific person from LE had said that she was probably visiting a friend at the mountain lakes.

Do you know me or have you ever met me? And if you have answered no to these questions then who are you to say Im pretending to be so coy and puzzled? And how can you accuse me of throwing out red herrings? When in fact Im only going out to try to find out where and what happened to Maura. How many times have you gone to NH looking and searching for Maura and talking with people in the area that she vanished from without a trace to tell me what Im posting is just a red herring?

Why after all these years are we just hearing about people walking the roads in that area that night? The only one to my knowledge that we know was RO who was walking to the store. Now you say a reliable source that was at the scene saw someone by the Eddys walking and someone else on there way to the scene saw someone walking on 112. Citigirl why did you wait all these years to come out with these tidbits? Something smells fishy

Remember his last public words: "I wish I had never stopped to help". So many good people are now gong to think twice before they stop to help to someone.

I have always believed she voluntarily disappeared. So why would I go to NH and harass the locals? Baghdadi: "she said she would like to disappear". I firmly believed this years before I ever heard of Baghdadi.

I was told that any info that was turned over to them they passed it along to LE whom was investigating the case. Any info that was ever passed along to us or Fred he would contact LE to what ever our findings were.So wowzer I did not wait all these years. It went through the proper channels before it went on a public forum.

I have only inquired about a missing relative and asked permission to searh there land. I have always been greeted with open arms. Although some say different the locals have opened there hearts and homes to my family. Although the theorys of what may have happened to Maura msy be different the one thing is that we all want is for Maura to be found.

I have never stated it was Maura. Just saying what I was told by reliable sources whom went to the scene that night.

LIES, MISINFORMATION and RED HERRINGS have been posted here and elsewhere over many years. and you, if you are MM's family member, did nothing to stop or prevent them from being told. oddly, you have returned here in recent days "to try to find out where and what happened to Maura." i'd think the better conversation is at Renner's blog.
