I remember back on the original MM forum people analyzed the photos of the car & many of us thought that most likely that car was in at least 2 accidents & there was no way all of the damage seen in the originally pictures was caused at the WB curve.

Well then the NHLI hired an accident reconstruction expert to analyze it & he said exactly what many of us had been thinking, that the damage to her Saturn could not have came from the accident at the WB curve.

Frank Kelly, the leader of the NHLI, a retired NHSP detective lieutenant has said outright that his expert said the damage did not only occur at the WB curve, he also said that he believed an earlier accident at, or around 7pm took place & she was involved in it. These are pretty strong statements. This guy was NHSP for over 20 years & he did a real investigation into this case, he spoke to the witnesses personally & just knows more about this case than almost anyone. Not only does he know this case he also spoke on the record about it, using his real name. Sorry but I'm gonna trust the word of an ex NHSP lieutenant who personally investigated this case speaking on the record over some anonymous guy on an Internet forum who's been screaming 'no metal on metal contact' like a mental patient for years.

While Smith's description doesn't make sense, I cannot credit Guy's version of the accident. His sketch would have Maura driving on the W***mans front lawn and driving straight into the Barn or Old Peters Rd.
