Find the post by beagle where he explains that his various postings are not about Maura Murray but about the circus surrounding the search for her. I don't see him as a killer. Disturbed? Sure? Antisocial? Probably. Killer? Not likely. Just my opinion of course. He may have stepped over the line in some of his videos, even if we don't know why he posted them but the message, to me, is not that he was involved. Of late, it has been others pulling him back in, not himself. The obsessive behavior he has exhibited in the past is no different in context than a certain self proclaimed detective, even if the content of the involvement is different. Vittum, on the other hand, has real physical evidence tying him to a murder. Comparing Vittum and Olsen is offensive to Olsen. My opinion.

I fully agree with you. I am certain that real detectives have given Olsen a full criminal proctologic exam. If he was involved, they would know. Columbo, not so much.

I really wouldn't worry about Columbo. Look at his track record. I mean his chances of finding out who anybody on the internet is about as likely as you being struck by lightning. The biggest problem is he will find somebody who isn't who he says it is and persecute that person. In other words if he "finds out" and tells everybody that I am Jim McElroy. And somebody tracks down and starts harassing Jim and of course I am not Jim and poor Jim doesn't have a clue what is going in. That is pretty much his "investigation" style. He throws shit (mostly just made up fantasy and gross speculation) on the wall and tries to see if anything sticks. It never does but that has never stopped him from throwing. Oh and my favorite technique of his is when he implies that he has lots of "evidence" about whatever it is he is talking about. Just can't reveal it all now.
