i agree that her family may not have fully known about her private life. certainly, many simple, factual questions about M remain unanswered by her family on these forums over many years. presumably, her family has been scrupulously honest with LE about M's past in order to assist them with the official investigation....and well before the strained relationship came to exist between FM and LE.
unless i am naive, i believe LE holds all the cards. they have had every opportunity to interview Maura's friends right from day one and going forward. i'd be surprised if someone would squeal new info to renner that doesn't already exist on LE's radar.
question -does renner have some professional obligation to first run info he discovers by LE before reporting it to the public on his blog? is there a moral obligation to do so? at what point does his investigation overlap with theirs?

As far as I know Renner has just recently begun his questioning and investgation on Maura's disappearance. LE however has had 7 years to investigate the case. Renner is going over old news which LE and most that have been here for awhile are already aware of. We have no idea how much information LE has. So wouldn't you agree that LE has had much more time to familiarize themselves with the case than Renner has had?
I'm not knocking Renner in any way. I'm watching and hoping he keeps digging until he finds out what happened to her.
And no, I never said the family holds all the answers. At least I sure hope they don't. Maybe you should read people's replies several times befor commenting on them because you are
