hopefully some better discussions in the days to come. I would like to have more talk about Mathew That posted about finding duct tape with hair about 7 miles from the scene. He said he brought LE to the scene. happened in 2010 he posted from woodstock nh and he said he was hunting. Talk later goodnight all. don't be afraid to post your thoughts.

Maybe Maura was chased&forced off the road?Maybe Brianna maitland was chased & was trying to get away from someone...Im not convinced they were unrelated.

Oh the booze. Got ya. very possible never thought of that. The locked car says to me that she didn't leave in distress. She thought or someone else thought to lock the card doors. I wonder if she had power door locks. Doesn't sound like it by previous posters that said her car was nothing fancy.

Maybe she locked the doors because she thought the "safe" person was taking her to call her dad or to the hospital, arrested&come back later?Where are/were her keys? Not sure about power locks. But in a panic/struggle you could lock them.

She reportedly refused help from the first person to offer to help her and claimed she had already called for help So a second person comes by haphazardly along a pretty "undriven" area (at that time day and time of year)and she accepts a ride after right after that? Or has she prearranged the second person to pick her up?

she would accept a ride if it was someone she knew or if it was someone that could be trusted. Police, fire, fish and game emt etc..If she were picked up by a trusted person (police etc...), one would assume they would have a scanner (radio) in their vehicle in order to get to the scene in such a short window of opportunity. My guess is that the vehicle would have parked on BH road based on the scent the dogs picked up. The problem with this case is that with so little information released to the public almost any scenario can't be ruled out 100%. My Gut tells me that the NSP knows what happened to Maura but just don't have enough to prosecute yet. Similiar to the new case in Aruba.

She would, if in panic mode, which I suspect she was after knowing that the SBD was calling the police and likely drunk, accept a ride from anyone or far more likely, just run off. Happens all the time. Most times with no actual plan at all. Seen it dozens of times if not hundreds. Some people should read the reams of information on this subject that is written before. I think I will just wait until this silliness burns itself out. Bill

If Maura didnīt run off down Rte 112 in a state of panic, I believe that she was most likely picked up by a vehicle somewhere very close to her car wreck, either by someone she knew or by some kind of "official status" driver (such as LE, EMD, Fish and Game, etc). If the latter Maura might have felt that she had no choice but to comply and accept a ride away from her car. I frankly do not think it likely that she would have accepted a ride from anyone she didnīt previously know unless the driver in question was wearing some kind of "officialdom" uniform and/or was driving an "official-looking" vehicle.
