Which no one has yet conceded didn't actually ever happen by a trailer hitch. I think I was actually on the forefront, with others, of debunking that line of horseshit also. Stating emphatically that the damage was in no way caused by a trailer hitch. But, some people went in circles with that load of crap for months derailing the entire thread.

Everyone, stand by. The flushing sound you hear may be this latest evidence getting "tested".

Not necessarily two missing persons.
The person who MIGHT have picked Maura (?) up on Rte 112, friend or foe, may not be a missing person at all. Why should that be the case?

As for your other question, IIRC I believe that Mr Murray was at work at the time. Please, correct me if I´m wrong.

The car did not hit the tree at the accident scene as stated in the accident report and this has been proven by accident reconstructionist with the use of photos as well as physical evidence.

What actually caused the damage to the front of the saturn has yet to be determined, but the tree has been ruled out.

The damage is not consistent with hitting the frozen snowbank either.

The damage was "CAUSED BY SOME OTHER OBJECT"

Does it lend itself to something that might have been there when Maura was there or where they discovered covered with grease and oil in the trunk or under the seat buried under some other crap? We never seem to get straight answers to these latent mystery revelations. Just the run around about how this information will change the entire course of the investigation. So far, it hasn't.

Have you been able to get this accident re-constructionist to verify that it also COULD NOT have been caused by that trailer hitch that everyone spent months wasting their time on?

Just curious as to how much knowledge he is willing to share with everyone. I mean if he can rule out everything else except item X then we will have the answer. He seems convinced that a snowbank didn't cause the damage and that the tree didn't cause the damage. What else is he convinced didn't cause it? Any mention of trailer hitches - UFO's - the fu**ing Titanic??? Would he be willing to include any of those in what didn't cause the damage?

thanks bill........ since the family wont answer - we wont get an answer and i think that is what frustrates people . the local people would comment until run off.. i dont know why the family wouldn't try to set the record straight. it could help solve it... then again;; i wasn't around for MM1 or MM2 I have just heard that the posts were monitored and deleted which I found HIGHLY suspiscous.. but that is my 2 cents.

Maybe the damage was caused by a turd that was tossed over the wall.
The mens gloves - if those really exist, surely they would have been long since tested and ruled in or out as relevant or irrelevant to the case. Bet they belong to Fred.

Hi all,as I recall the accident reconstructionist gave opinions about the condition of the saturn by looking at photos that were taken by the Private Investigators maybe 18 months after the saturn was found.The saturn was at Lavoies for an unknown amount of time and I just read in Bath before being taken to twin mountain.I wonder how much damage was done with these multiple tows ,if there were more damage done and why the saturn is being held.Speaking of that is anyone local able to say if it is still today in the storage area.Why Maura's prior life is such a secret is so curious to me.take care philip

The Saturn is still @ NHSP Troop F in Twin Mountain. It is parked behind the building on the lawn. This is as of 5 days ago.

For more than 6 years we have all heard about the gloves that were given to Maura as a gift. Those gloves were brought up and talked about many many times along with the rag in the tailpipe.
There has NEVER been any mention about a men's pair of gloves also being found in the car. Does anyone else besides me find this beyond strange?
