She was never named initially. It was a search for a young woman of Maura's age and height based upon the description given by of course - the SBD. Sharon claims she was told it was thought to be Fred who was driving the Saturn. Then they said that they were thinking it was an abandoned car, maybe left and parked by someone who was going to be snowmobiling. That people did this all the time. She never did get the notes. FW did say she could see a man in the car, and who cares if he was smoking or on a cellphone for that matter.....a man in the car. Somewhere in here was Barbara A, talking to dispatch, relaying to them what Butch had told her. FW says that CS came to her door right away asking where the "girl" was,~ the one with a rag in her tailpipe. I'm guessing this is when she would have said she had just seen "the girl" at the car 1-2 minutes before CS got there. Fred says if the'd've only gone East right away his daughter would be with them now. That's a big statement to make. As for the other set of gloves, it seems fishy that noone in the family mentioned that. What could it mean when Maura was said to NEVER wear gloves? Another thing I'd like to mention is that CS and BA went looking for "Maura" that night, and for about 15 minutes or so.

There was a red truck on BHR that night.
It was only there for a short time so it is possible it could have gone unnoticed by residents. The red truck was noticed by a passerby who recalled seeing it. I know LE has the gloves but do they have the MEN'S gloves. Just a yes or no will be fine. I'm going to a meeting with an old friend this afternoon and would love this to be answerd before I go. TIA

The timing of the observation of the red p/u truck on Bradley Hill Road is intriguing, since it more or less coincides with the timing of the Saturn´s accident/incident on Rte 112 between the Weathered Barn and BHR. What if the driver of the red p/u truck observed on BHR came down BHR and picked up Maura (?) near the intersection of BHR and Rte 112, without being observed by any of the people living nearby. It could have been done in a matter of seconds.

we have missing college student here in wa at western wa. at college a week - went to a party sat - sun - he has vanished. phone goes to vmail. no one saw him... first missing person for the college..... i just dont get how someone vanishes without a trace.

LE recovered 4 black gloves. One pair of gloves were given to Maura as a present and the other pair were larger and more than likely NOT Maura's gloves.
