Det Columbo wrote: Just to clarify one thing Wowzer. You have stated previously that the car was located into the snowbank and small trees on The Marrottes front lawn. Is this statement true or false. It makes not much difference, but if We are trying to get facts straight this is one I would like to clear up. Thank You It was near a stand of trees by their front lawn, further down the road from the blue ribbon. Look at the pictures in the police report. I think they are pretty accurate. And you're right, what possible difference would a few feet one way or the other make. Maura had an accident near/on that curve, refused help and then disappeared. If I was you I'd look again at those trees for marks and if they seem too large picture them 8 years ago.

The car was actually parallel with the road and not stuck according to the accident report. It was even stated by FD and EMS "I don't know why she didn't just drive away." When You heard all this on the scanner that night and KNEW the accident was right outside Your door....Did You go to look out the window or go outside? When You heard that statement "NO IDEA WHERE THE FEMALE WENT" Did You maybe happen to go out then and maybe try to help. Were You one of the locals who helped search that night? If I was,(and I'm certainly not saying I was) do you think I would tell you. Did you or did you not find out where one of the past local posters lived in Woodsville and you were spotted by her house? With the damage done to the front of the car it's hard to believe FD and EMS stated they didn't know why she didn't just drive away. Where did you see that info?

I am not sure who White Wash thinks I am, but she has got the wrong person. I do not know where she lives, do not care and why would I. This did not happen. I would like her to give a description of the person and vehicle and then We could clarify that for her. Both EMS and FD both stated that when interviewed by Myself.

Wowzer the real one wrote: <quoted text> I imagine it would be IF a car was driven after deployment. Silky thought the cover housing the airbag had been removed and replaced in Maura's car. She saw the car at Lavoie's. She thought there were similarities in fender damage to Brianna's car. She took lots of pics. Good to see you Lady Gray. Good to see you Lady Gray

What evidence directs you to be so certain the accident occured elsewhere?

Good to see you Lady Gray If it had deployed wouldn't that explain the cover being gone or am I missing something here. No disrespect for silky but wasn't she the one that found the wobble doll head or some such thing in the woods a couple of towns away(maybe Pike) and though there was something sinister about it and somehow involved in MM?

Are you related to one of the locals that was supposedly bashed ? No names required just a yea or nea and we might then understand you. Can't you see that you bash everyone? It is like someone that stands on the Glosta shoreline and says" I hate when the Waves come in because I don't like to get wet." You might want top get off the beach Dah you fail to make valid or convincing arguments. i'm just buttering up a new bowl of popcorn here. not going anywhere, sweetie pie.

if the damage to Mauras car was inconsistant with trees or snowbanks, could the damage be from the Vasi accident?Whats this previous mention of a trailor hitch? What would long time forum members consider to be the most unusual car damage evidence?

I speculated last week about tow trucks having scanners&Mauras car being found in neutral. If Im correct a disabled car is shifted into neutral to tow. Also,Im pictureing a large trailor hitch type devise on a tow truck. Not sure how any of this might fit the timeline but I know I've trusted tow truck drivers for a ride.

Another possibilty is maura had no time to shift the car from drive to park if being abducted.Could the damage to the car stem from an earlier encounter with a red truck with a trailor hitch?

We live in a metropolitan area where all the tow truck drivers listen to the scanners. If you even have a minor fender bender and it goes out over the airwaves at least half a dozen tow trucks show up jockeying for position. So maybe... A magnetic sign is placed on the "tow truck" door... Instant credibility with MM = no struggle. That's why she might have gotten in the truck. Except the driver bolts off and doesn't hook up the Saturn... Revenge of the wobble doll heads -- a movie coming to theaters soon. Pass the popcorn.

You really need to read the police report. The call came in for a car into a tree. It states that there were tire tracks in the snow. It also states.... Type of accident "Fixed object" Fixed object struck "Tree" Take it or leave it as this is the last I'll say about this. It's been gone over a million times already and if you want to believe that the accident happened somewhere else then that would be entirely up to you. I'll go with common sense and the report.
