Beagle wrote: <quoted text>Actually, this is a fairly common thing for people in northern and even central New England to do while driving home on a winter night. Beagle, Surely there has been occasion when you've thought about walking away from it all. Especially you. Out of everyone on this entire site, you appear to have pondered a few grizzly situations? Undoubtedly there are folks out there who periodically fantasize about dropping a little something off on a snowy winter's eve. Simplify their life. Some of them don't exactly enjoy "following" their bliss. Leaders. Was listening to Rita today. She mentioned something about someone having said something like, "...neurotics build castles and psychotics live in them." She then referred to someone else who cleans the castles. How true.'Tis America Land. No getting around that. Stopped following the LI findings.... Last time I read about it...April? November? it seemed authorities thought possibly one or two officers (one retired, the other "former" officer) might have been involved? Can't be true. This is America Land. People just enjoy spreading rumors? Scandal? I was thinking about it, thinking about it and reflecting on what Rita had said. She might have something there, metaphorically speaking.

aftermath wrote: Hannah wrote: Assuming youīre referring to Beauregard & Rossmo: Trapper type serial offender "has a certain position or occupation or creates a situation that allows him to meet potential victims in the area he is covering as part of this occupation". Iīm guessing this classification would pertain to him either being a police officer or posing as one? Iīm furthermore guessing his mode of attack would be that of an ambusher: "attacks a victim only after she has been enticed to a location controlled by the offender". So why would he dump the bodies in the woods near Fairlee/Hulbert Outdoor Center? Because he worked or lived there? Wouldnīt that be just plain stupid, dumping bodies close to a place he has ties to? Hannah, You seem to be zeroing in on the Center, while I'm considering the large number of acres in that vicinity. Connectedness to the Center? Possibly, but we have no way of knowing that. Many of the victims were outdoor enthusiasts, however, so your point is well taken. Possibly some connection. It is something to consider. While I do know the purpose and services offered by the Center (facility), I had been more focused on the remoteness and easy accessibility off I-91 of the Fairlee area. Consider him traveling I-89, I-91, I-93 and of course not forget Route 302. When he's working Route 302 and I-93 he's using Franconia and northward (off I-93) as disposal sites; that had drawn much attention...especially MM's disappearance and therefore at least for a while had need to extend area for body disposal. Consider the circumstances of evening of Feb 9....he needed to head somewhere quickly. What better choice than off I-91, Fairlee wooded area. Consider the accessibility. Too much police activity in the Route 112 area on vicinity the evening of Feb 12 and over the following weeks, months, years. I believe you know as well as I who works there as an instructor. I also believe IF there are any bodies out in the Fairlee woods, the area worth searching could be considerably narrowed down. Some 100 yards away from a drivable road? Unless he had access to an ATV. I donīt recall reading this guy lived anywhere near Fairlee at the time, but I may be wrong?

I don't think I've ever heard a sleeping bag was missing. And some ways back Rozshoem said those were 'real tears" that MM was shedding and it completely changed her plans in terms of where she wanted to be. Noone said anything, so what up Roz? Who died and what's this about a sleeping bag?

Det Columbo, some ways back I did see you answered me, thank you. I'll just believe you then over the ones who said you saw the receipt and the wine wasn't on it.

Just to clarify....I have NEVER seen a reciept from MM car for any items. I am not sure where this misinformation came from. I hope this helps.

Thanks jwb, I believe that aftermath is referring to the Louise Chaput murder case in Franconia, although I have some difficulty connecting the threads in aftermathīs rather complex way of presenting her case.

Doesn't sound like Weeper's writings. IMHO I think Roz and aftermath are two trolls, er peas, in the same pod. I think this person sits in an apartment someplace in NY and looks up info for around this area and then fantasizes about different scenerios. I think by making their fantasies sound like facts he/she is hoping to get the full attention of the audience. This person also strives to appear more intelligent and to have more knowledge than their audience who are mere commoners. JMO

I did look for 20 minutes, as far back as page 337 I think. When people throw nutts, it's time to prove it with a link. So, yes, I'll look.

IMHO. i am not familiar with Weeper's writing style...he preceded me here; but his messages were always carried by waddlers, so i trust hannah's assessment this time around. i am, otherwise, exquisitely sensitive to style, phrasing and content.
