If The saturn did clip the westmans snowbank and then spun to the other side where (CS) said it hit trees. One would think that there would be more damage to the front bumber. looks like mostly hood and headlight damage. what is up with the red mark on the headlight?

Funny that (cs) didn't mention the clipped curvein his report and the TV guy game forward with it.

It is possible that an on coming vehicle cut the corner going west to avoid maura and hence the acceleration and the thump when maura spun into the eastbound bank.

Red truck perhaps?(That one was for snowey)

There was no sign of the vehicle hitting wildlife. NO blood or fur on the car.

according to the TV guy and the ACC Rec crew CS had two errors on his report.

1) clipping westman snowbank

2) hitting the trees

Yes I did say this but when I said this I was replying to Columbos statement when he said he had never seen a receipt for the items from Mauras car. I also quoted what he said with my reply.

Here is only one of several possible answers to your post #908; page 42? The tire marks went up "to" the tree for possibly the same reason the FBI offer to take the case was rejected? Another possibility based on your deflection theory: an alien spaceship dropped the Saturn from the sky after attempting to steal that box of wine. Falling from high altitude and at an angle, the Saturn's hood hit one of those 3 trees in an attempt to hug it.

PS: K-9 Handler, I agree with you. Something setting up high from the ground (at about the height of the car hood) hit the hood of the Saturn with such force that the hood was driven back; while nothing hit the headlight and metal to the right and beneath the headlight...the force of whatever hit the hood of the car, hit with such force that the headlight and pieces of machined metal to right and beneath headlight fell out of position. Had the car hit a tree with the force that hit the hood, the headlight would have been smashed. It was not.

If she feared for her life, why wouldn´t she accept SBD´s help or seek help at one of the nearby homes? Being cited for DUI is better than getting killed.
