This is about Maura Murray who vanished with out a trace on the night of February 9, 2004 and has not been seen since. Get over it and stop whining and crying about things that have been said on the forums that you disagree with. There is a family out there hurting because they don't know where and what happened to there loved one. Its easy for you to be so judgemental because neither of you have had to go through what this family is going through.

jwb, Not trying to stir the shit pot more, but citigirl has never even met Maura. Not that that matters as far as her concern with Maura, but just to let you know, she does not know Maura. Family can be related, yet total strangers. Citigirl is mad that Mr Renner did not interview her. And my guess is because citigirl knows nothing more than what info is provided to the public.

Snowy you are so big on verified documentation. Show us the documentation proving that your theory as to what happened to Maura is correct.

sorry oo00oo but you are incorrect in your statement saying I never even met Maura. Iam not mad at Renner. I just disagree with his book with reasoning that I have already stated in the past. If I wanted to be interviewed by him I could have contacted him. I choose not to.

A few minutes ago, just for kicks, I drove west on N. Hadley Rd. to the stop sign/light at Roosevelt, where Maura apparently crashed the Corolla in Hadley. I've always felt that this was a poorly designed intersection and that it's a little understandable that someone who had never driven through it before might get confused about where to stop. However, I feel, as a local, that if you've driven through this intersection once, you'd never forget where to stop. IOW, no excuse for a crash. Unless you're pretty darn drunk.

If Maura was headed for the motel that night, she would almost certainly not have driven that road unless she had driven it before. If she had driven it before, she would almost certainly have stopped at the designated place and not have crossed Roosevelt and crashed into the guard rail.

Therefore, she was probably not driving the Corolla when it crashed or she was drunk. But if she was drunk, then why was she not cited and arrested?

The small amount of vandalism that occurred in my backyard a few years ago followed by only a few hours my Topix post about how interested the police were in the Corolla.

SBD cannot reliably place Maura at the Saturn's crash at the WB curve. No one else can place here there at all.

I am leaning toward the notion that Maura was friendly with a local cop.

family outings that Fred brought his kids to and funerals of family members. What I did say is I have met her in the past. Yes I did say he never contacted me. The reason I had said this which I had stated in the past is how can one say they are writing a book about a missing person but not contact all that have been involved in the case. This in no way means I wanted to talk with him.

I should have said that the stop sign and the flashing stop light are poorly placed or arranged. The intersection, in terms of the pavement, is not unusual. It would be better if there were a small island at the end of N. Hadley, one with a stop sign and flashing light. The flashing light should not be across Roosevelt from N. Hadley.

IMO... Maura would not have taken that route to the motel if she had never driven it before. If she had driven that route before, then she wouldn't have crashed unless she was quite drunk. If she was drunk enough to crash at that intersection, then why was she not written and arrested?

"kitten" also posted - but I cannot now locate the post - that Maura was pulled over on Rt. 47. This necessarily implies another time and location, but still in Hadley.
