Back to the considering suicide theory. As I stated before Maura used a death in the family as an excuse for being absent, she had been through a lot emotionally. Her relationship with Bill, wrecking dads car, being bounced out of West Point, her drinking, and who knows what else. Then the accident in NH which could have been a deal closer.
She likely feels like an absolute loser. I feel Maura may have gone to Fred's hotel room that night because she was in dire straights over her life ( possibly fueled by liquid courage, drinking ) and needed to talk. People who drink seem to have a need to wake up people at the early morning hours because the drama can't wait. That may explain the late night mysterious visit. This may explain Fred's squaw walk statement. Last but not least, she buys a LOT of alcohol,I read she also had sleeping pills, she has the book, and last BUT NOT LEAST, she has Fred's comment which is basically, WHEN I'M NO USE ANY MORE I'M GOING TO THE TOP OF A MOUNTAIN WITH A BOTTLE TO DIE!!! All this adds up to Fred's " squaw walk " statement, he likely knew much more about Maura's state of mind then anyone else. Maura has the alcohol, the pills, and the mountains, a place she may have felt at peace and wanted to die in a place so special to her. Maura could have been still on the fence when hypothermia sealed her fate, we'll probably never know. |

Judged: 2 Thought it was a "generally accepted consensus" that New City was BR's cell and that 413-6*7-9411 was MM's? RMSMc probably a concerned prof. I wouldn't tempted to jump on the scuttlebutt trolley unless there's something definitive. |
The number ended with 8290 |
|
generally accepted by who? has anyone done a reverse phone search? |
|
maura did call Lawton OK and that is where BR was stationed and that number ended in 1261 |

Judged: 1 Hey JWB, Before my time. Maybe we could throw it out to the Topix auditors? BTW, do you know how Renner is coming along with the "New Years in Goshen" and "MM's Secret Suitor"? Apparently he has the chap's name -- the one who MM was supposedly leaving Billy for. |
Judged: 1 1 1 why would a married man with kids leave his family and head up to NH to aide in the search?I wonder if anyone can say if she was in one of her classes or not. |

Could he have been a friend of Billy's and was asked to felt compelled to help? |

Judged: 1 I just dropped Mr renner another line to ask about the ambitious suitor. I thought it was the track coach but maybe there is another because she was already done with him. |
|
very possible, never thought of that. Highly likely and worth looking into why Mr renner brought him into the mix. |
|
I am really interested in the facts that Mr Renner hasn't released on his Blog. I find it odd that no one has come forward that was at the new years eve party or maybe someone has and that is the suitor that frostman inquiring about.

Judged: 3 Now that the West Point professor has been "outed" on Mr Rennerīs MM blog, there must surely be some kind of reason why Mr Renner has chosen to make the professorīs name public in this way. Hopefully there is a good reason for doing so, as it would be rather awful otherwise. |

Visionandpsychosis.net maura was featured on it Missing College Students and Student Suicides Although there is a long list of missing college students no school has investigated the cause of these disappearances. Stories go back to near the turn of the 20th century. Some of them are found as fatal accident or crime victims. A few are revealed as suicides. A small number recover and return rarely admitting a mental break. A much smaller number are never found. What's the problem? There is circumstantial evidence it's a little known phenomenon discovered when it caused a believed to be harmless mental break for office workers forty years ago. Background: In the late 1950's and early 1960's a group of designers, engineers, and human factor scientists were hired to modernize the business office. They were to research then design modern office furniture their employers could sell. The first examples were introduced in 1964. Herman Miller Inc. produced the Action Office 1, and Steelcase built the Steelcase 9000. Some of the workers using these first examples of close-spaced workstations began to have mental breaks. The explanation I was given in engineering school about 1966 was that someone noticed the mental events were not scattered around the room but happening at only certain desks. That allowed them to hire experts in human physiology to find the problem. It was the vision startle reflex and the cubicle was designed to block peripheral vision for a concentrating worker to stop it by 1968. Herman Miller's workstation name was changed to the Action Office System. That's why the field of design involving cubicles is called Systems Furniture. Although the physiology that allows it to happen is explained in first semester college psychology no school provides Cubicle Level Protection where it is needed or warns students. When the accidental discovery is mentioned it is treated as something that happened once long ago. My instructor said, "Subliminal Sight caused a problem in the early days of modern office design. Remember Nathaniel Williams, Brian Shaffer, Maura Murray, Michael Negrete, Justin Gains, Josh Guimond, and recently Nick Coppola. All the cases are different which confuses discovering the cause. The authorities are not looking in the correct place. There is circumstantial evidence that these disappearances and suicides are cause by that mental break discovered and solved in business offices forty years ago. |

cont:
It is not a brain injury or mental disorder. When it happened to my wife she heard voices, hallucinated, and had crying episodes from delusional beliefs. When I sought psychiatric help for her I discovered this problem is unknown by anyone in mental health services. When I found an engineer to explain the problem, her doctors refused to call him. The episode this exposure causes cannot be distinguished from mental illness. The case with the most evidence is Ron Tammen. He vanished from Miami of Ohio in April 1953. There had been several students vanish then return with amnesia of the events during their absence. When Tammen disappeared they all thought he would return too. The case was so strange that the library at Miami University still has a site with Adobe files and pictures about it. Miami was using a donated insane asylum as a dorm. Two or more students were crowded into rooms intended for a single mental patient. That living arrangement will allow Subliminal Distraction if one student studies while the others move around them in peripheral vision. That replicates the 1960's office workstation problem where the problem was discovered. You can learn to ignore movement around you to continue working. But you can't turn off the primitive subliminal brain function to detect threat-movement near you and begin the effort to startle. The mental break happens when your brain experiences a massive number of subliminal failed attempts to startle. This exposure cannot be detected. Everyone has a few minor exposure incidents every day. It is harmless at that level. Tammen was in the dorm at 8PM but by 10PM he was gone. Leaving his psychology book open on the desk, he walked by his car he had used earlier that day. Sighted a three hours walk from the school he was so confused he didn't know his name. He is still missing. There have been two disappearance suicides at Georgia Tech. Joe Morse's roommate from 2003 supplied diagrams of their dorm room computer set up to show he had Subliminal Distraction before he disappeared then flew to Miami where he committed suicide the next day. It was four years before Georgia Tech police found him as an unidentified suicide. Just telling students the problem exists would allow them to exercise judgment to avoid it. Schools such as MIT, Princeton, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech have not investigated it. If they prove the connection for Subliminal Distraction and college suicides they also prove they are responsible for the deaths. |

Judged: 1 1 1 the difference between there (Renner's blog) and here (Topix) is his professional, journalistic integrity. must be a very good reason. |
