The Stage Stop occured in spring 2006 or 2007 need to look back at my notes.

If, however, there was indeed a man possibly driving a Volvo with NY plates at the Stage Stop Store back in 2006 or 2007 enquiring about Maura and likely posing as a (fake) journalist....
If I read mscmom´s post correctly this was confirmed by Mrs M-n at the Stage Stop Store.
Apparently some man in NY state cared enough about Maura´s fate to be doing some sleuthing on his own in Swiftwater.
Some kind of West Point connection?
