A lot of posters quoting out of "Psychiatry For Dummies" this morning without taking an accurate history of their "patient".

NH LE has stated that she left in a vehicle. Known, accredited LE have come forth with this on several occasions. So suicide? In the vehicle she left in?

Are you all on a day pass from the looney bin?

FrmLE,
She did tell work supervisors and professors that she would be away a few days due to death in the family. This, whether true or not, is called an "excuse." Usually when someone provides an "excuse" they're hoping for an "excused absence"....especially if they hope to return to work, school, etc. Had she offered, "I'm not feeling well" excuse, chances are someone might have been knocking on her dorm room door, inquiring how she was feeling. Sounds like she did not want company. Also, they might have wondered if she was sick...why would she then disappear for a week? Death in the family seems as good excuse as any to be excused and keep people away for at least a week or longer until her return to campus. Fact is ...no one knows exactly why she did what she did. We cannot even determine if her thought process, decision-making was rational or otherwise...because we have no idea WHY she was making the decisions that she was making. Simple as that.

FrmLE,
Right on. The point is: she, 85-year old woman "walked" away. Case in point, there is at least a 50-50 chance MM was whisked away in a big bold V-8,'Chariot Rockin' at that intersection. MM wasn't 85 and she was on foot, not at home. She was on foot, at night, in the darkness of Grafton County.

HOW?????????? Evidentally, it appears there has been a good deal of controversy regarding the exact number of accidents the Saturn had been involved in on Route 112 that evening. The report of a dark-colored car, driving away from an accident scene earlier that evening leaves a possibility the Saturn may have been involved in 2 accidents on Route 112. Some believe the damage to the car appeared to have occurred at some other time.....not at the site where SBD spoke with Maura. Possibly airbags deployed at time of first accident. One unique, area of concentric cracks positioned on windshield (above steering wheel). No similar damage to windshield on passenger side. Strong possibility of head injury. She had been involved in at least two accidents within a couple of days? Why would it be unreasonable to believe that the Saturn may have slide off Route 112 earlier that night? Especially when there was report of someone driving away from another accident scene earlier that night on Route 112 (someone in a dark car).
We know there was ONE accident on 112 involving the Saturn because there were witnesses, the car was found in the snowbank, the police saw the car and there was an accident report and dispatch log. The first supposed accident is nothing but hearsay. No proof, no witnesses that I've heard about.
Could you please put a link to the information where a car was seen driving away from another accident.

Ummm, you just made this up right? Please, please please tell me where you got this info?

You can't, because you made it up, because that is an outright lie.

Keep making up lies and as much time as I have I will keep calling you on those lies.

One or more of the more senior members probably has a list of the numerous newspapers articles, footage of press conferences, and television shows where LE has stated they believe it's most likely MM left in a vehicle.

If nobody comes forth I can research and post later. There are good people here who have other factual information about this disappearance tucked away that could be re-posted but who can't take the aggravation foisted upon them by the self-aggrandizing rabble-rousers who have nothing better to do than run interference.

More lies and made up crap with absolutely no basis in fact. 50/50 chance? According to who? you? you just made that up right?

Big, bold V-8, chariot rocking? What does that even mean? You're a genuine certified retard.

Nope, you are wrong, this is not true at all. But hey, don't let that keep you from saying it ok?

Next time try this.........."I heard from a friend of my brothers sisters cousin's friend who read that this guy at his school's uncle knew a guy who saw Maura at a party....."

If take your head out of your textbooks and search hard enough you'll find it. Credible information.

Now, Ol' Frosty is going to make a wild prediction that JR's Blog will be updated in the near future regarding his original August 4, 2010 post. Purely speculative though... maybe something to do with decibels and the hoosegow?

aftermath,
Just a question, please:
The "report" of a dark car driving away from another accident scene earlier that night on Rte 112 is something that I have never ever read about previously over the last several years.
Are you basing this on the supposed scanner traffic as reportedly overheard by Anne, or what?
Please, explain what your sources are for this.
Many thanks.2

Don't quote me word for word but if memory serves me I remember something about the police asking dispatch to see if anyone had shown up at Cottage Hospital (since no one was with the car they might have thought she may have been picked up by a passerby in a private vehicle).
I've heard this many times on the scanner when a car has been found with no driver. And there have been times when a person has shown up there after an accident after being driven there by either a passerby, a neighbor or a relative that was called.

Why would I search to find the source of your nonsensical lies? Are you serious? Take my head out of my textbooks? Whats THAT mean?

Let me say, I worked this case, not at the time but as a cold case several years later. There is no information to support your claim.

Credible information? Yeah sure, then YOU SUPPLY THE SOURCE STUPID.

to what extent, then, are you willing to compile and informally list established "facts" for us....even a short list? it might be a good exercise in clearing out the muck.
on second thought, Frosty is presumed to be involved with JR in aligning and refining what is known with Renner's investigative journalism....so you might not want to do their work for them.
your thoughts, please?

Scarinza said a canine tracked Murray for about 100 yards east of where Murray's car went off the road.
He said the trail ended in the general area of Atwood's residence.
Because the trail came to an end, Scarinza believes it is an indication she left the area in a car.
