According to the construction worker's report, he saw a young person wearing jeans, a dark coat and a light hood. This person reportedly ducked down a side road (dirt road). This was 4-5 miles east of the site of the Saturn accident and about 8 PM of that night. Apparently LE tends to believe the construction worker's account and also generally believe that this young person indeed was Maura. Two things about this. First, if this young person was Maura, then she had some type of "hood", which could be a hooded sweatshirt being worn under the dark coat, or could be a separate hood such as a hat. Either way, the mention of a hood is suggestive that if it was Maura, she had at least come warmer clothing than just a coat. Second, if she had covered approx. 5 miles in roughly half an hour (accident abt 7:30 PM ...sighting by construction worker about 8 PM), there is good reason to consider she may have made it to N. Woodstock within another hour or two. From the junction of Rt. 112 and Rt. 116 (vicinity where construction worker saw the young person) it is only about another 11 miles to N. Woodstock. And consider: Maura was a runner, she was fit, and she was accustomed to running in all sorts of weather (assumed, because she reportedly ran nearly every day).

Seen him in person? I didn't think so. It's people like you and jwb that hint and insinuate and try so hard to sway readers into thinking that someone who's name has been mentioned innocently in the past (and present) is somehow guilty of something to do with MM disappearance. You are not here aftermath to help find out what happened to MM IMHO. I think you are here as a drama queen with an overactive imagination that fantasizes different scenerios and tries to make the public believe it is facts and not BS that you are puking out. This is all a big game to you just as it was to your twin rozshoem who disappeared when he/she was caught in his/her lies. It's kind of sad to see the lengths that some will go to get attention even at the cost of innocent people's reputations.

AcidHouseMartin wrote: "Maura thought she may be with child....she was looking into the effects of drinking on an unborn child." Reasons a confused young woman might drink while suspecting she might be pregnant include: Decided already not to continue the ppossible or confirmed pregnancy and trying to carry on as normal and/or blot out the issue. Trying to abort the pregnancy Already convinced drinking had damaged the pregnancy and terrified of being told that's the case when seeking medical confirmation Negligence and lack of care Reasons to continue taking birth control pills if you think you might be pregnant? You don't want to subsequently fall pregnant if you discover it's a false alarm. Reasons to take birth control pills if a pregnancy has been confirmed? Absolutely none what so ever. Find out if she'd been taking that pill regularly and including the day she went missing and you'll find out if she KNEW she was pregnant. I'd like Mr Renner to reveal whether she'd popped that day's pill or those since the tears and trauma. If he knows. Wasn´t there talk about her having skipped a few pills, not taking them regularly? I believe this was discussed on a now deleted threead and also on the first MM forum.

Aftermath, Regarding Mr. Renner's writings about MM possibly meeting someone in NH -- he's stated his theory on that a few times, including on his "RF" blog today. He's also posted that the rumor about MM being in Goshen, NH at New Years-ish has been confirmed, but doesn't say by whom. I don't know Mr Renner, I only know his writings from the Ray Gricar disappearance, so you'd have to contact him. My guess is that he'll post something once it's been tracked down, or he'll retract the comment. Hopefully the "secret rendez-vous in NH" it isn't just a dangling carrot. Given what little us hoi polloi truly know it might be a possibility. JMO. I don't see enough evidence that MM walked away from WB corner and perished or that she's a Walk-Away and living somewhere else. I don't have enough information to even guess if she was the cypher running 5 miles down the road on that 112/116 stretch. IMO she was either abducted or went to meet someone and subsequently there was foul play involved. Again, JMO. Frosty

Whether you wanted a pregnancy to continue or not but it was confirmed, unless you were of remedial intellect, you'd stop taking your pills. Other than a positive testing kit, a sustained break from the pill just prior to her disappearance is the closest to proving a pregnancy you'll ever get here. Obviously,'skipping a few pills' could mean either forgetfulness or trying to get pregnant, which some might view as a means to snare a cheating lover one might fear losing. In addition, the whole thing could be a red herring. She was a nursing student, related assignments or not, it's a pertinent search to her course. Maybe she was just curious. Maybe, given her mother's reported drinking, Maura was the unborn child she searched for info on? My point is that Renner likes to throw these things in a lot. What's your opinion of him, Snowy? I think he's the king of speculation, myself.

OMG, too hilarious. a flying pig!....unsafe...UNSAFE!!! and we know for sure some barking dog is sitting below just observing...no doubt a part of the plan to abduct. i read about that barking dog on Topix. it alerted a passerby (name unknown....she had long red hair and white patent leather boots that blended into the snow)...and, curiously, the man on the zip line whizzing by was an albino!! white boots below the zip, and white hair and pink eyes at zip level. i think the perp must have been a skier at one time....i mean, he knows how to traverse the mountain over the shortest distance. he's a gifted athlete...speed even at the highest altitudes. i'll bet he pretends to be an EMT, and offers to rescue damsels in distress, but serially lifts them away. we can't see where the zip line ends in the picture....but can assume the mountain is very, very high. after all, a plane crashed there and .... well you know the rest of the story. final clue: there was something about a green gecko square dancing at the local bar. go figure.

I think he's the king of speculation, myself. i apologize for indulging in a silly, fanciful post above....while you're being serious here. so i'll recover my dignity. ok. recovered. wow. you mention all kinds of possibilities. there is no way even an OB/GYN could predict the chances of conception for an individual woman who skipped "a" pill or "several" pills during a given cycle. so, while the assumption is that skipping a BC pill(s) could lead to pregnancy....that statement is too broad, imo, to be prove conception occurred, and that MM was acting on that info. there is simply no way to assess whether she was, how early, whether she knew, and if she was acting on that knowledge. impossible. hmmm....Renner. i like it when he snags the interview and can attach a name to quotes. so far, he's shared some new information. i accept that it's only fair that he be allowed to ponder and then toss speculation here and there for feedback....and then self-correct if he realizes there is conflicting info. i give him lots of credit for pursuing a mystery with more unknowns than knowns. fingers crossed that he can compile a comprehensive, fact-based timeline with minimal speculation down the road. as i write this, i'm beginning to believe it's best to simplify...simplify....simplif y whenever possible. stick to what is known to build from the most secure foundation of knowledge. a nearly "impossible" task, yes?(your word), but i am hopeful. are you?
