Okay, yes, if she kept the same pace I see what you're saying. I'm just thinking that in the dark and with icy patches on the sides of the road, she wouldn't have kept up that same pace the whole way. But on the safe side, we can say that if it was Maura she could have made it to N. Woodstock by between 9:30 PM and midnight. And if I recall, LE in N. Woodstock, Lincoln and etc. were not notified to BOL that night.
yea, you have an incline by the campground to the pond and it levels off for a bit and then look out Downhill for quite a ways

Oh btw, Old Peters Rd is still across from the W's house, kitchen to be exact. It hasn't moved one inch. I've been watching it to be sure it doesn't go anywhere like up the road or something.
And since you didn't believe the photo clearly showing it there's a very nice drawn picture of it on the accident report I believe, showing it right across from #70 which is the house.

John
columbo unable to copy and paste it, but if you go to the evidence page and go to grafton sheriff logs I want to say click on part 2 when you do that I believe there are 5 pages in there and it is page #4. If that is not the section just go back and try the others. It is page #4 at the bottom of that page. Hope that helps

But when he was coming home he should have seen the police lights assuming he took 112 to BHR. Not while he was at his trailer. Another poster made a suggestion that maybe he avoided the frost heaves and came via 116 to BHR.

My personal opinion is that the Saturn was turned into Old Peters Road, put into reverse and backed into the snow bank (again accounting for the acceleration and then a thud) and the operator pulled the shift lever into neutral rather than push it up into park. Under this scenario the Westmans would not have see the headlights during this maneuver as they would have shown up Old Peters Road. This is only an assumption based on a belief the Saturn was put at that location.

If someone (Witness) got home from work and didn't see the flashing lights, that's completely understandable.

The latent Witness was, however, interviewed on Sunday, February 15, 2004 by a private investigator working for the Murray family. That latent Witness was also interviewed on Thursday, February 19 by LE. Then 11 weeks later Witness mentions (so it's been reported) the sighting of somebody running 4-5 miles down the road on that very night MM disappeared to W at SSS. W mentions it to FM who passes that info along to LE. Witness is re-interviewed and a search is launched by LE and NHFG on May 8-ish 5 miles down Rte 112 or so. This is mentioned in Fred's letter to NH Gov. Benson, penned in May, 2004.

Some have noted that if you didn't remember what you saw 6 or 10 days after you saw someone running in a desolate area (ant were interviewed about the disappearance), what might have sparked your memory 11 weeks later? It's quite possible that Witness just didn't connect the two incidents?

I see people walking or jogging at night and day and couldn't give you a description 3 months later what they were wearing or even that I saw a runner on a particular day 3 months prior.

I believe the car was locked. Did they really get a search warrant for the car that quick? I remember reading something about the car being seen at the accident site with open door/s... Anyone could clear this up for me?
She had paperwork in the car to file an accident report for the Hadley accident. She was supposed to call her father that night (Monday night) to go over the paperwork. She may also have had a copy of the Police Accident Report on the Hadley accident, because it was completed on Feb 9th -- same day she picked up the paperwork SHE had to fill out, and then she disappeared that night.

According to a local-in-the-know, at 11PM on Monday the 9th, HPD obtained a search warrant for the Saturn. A search was granted by 9 AM the morning of Tuesday the 10th, and the search was performed later that morning. An inventory list was made of the vehicle's contents.

You can't lie and expect that someone that KNOWS it's a lie won't say something. If you can't even admit to a lie or at least to admit you were wrong after seeing two pictures as proof then I can't believe a word you say. Sorry.

looks like waddlers have chosen their next target. of course, the info being discussed has been out here for some time; curiously, with JR's post, the time has arrived to beat up RF. he better lock his doors.
run, RF, run!!! or you'll find yourself in an early grave like SBD. just sayin'.

Right! If that's one in the same person then then on three known occasions (at least) Witness was questioned/interviewed. I CAN understand not knowing about the accident or even a disappearance. L4M said she didn't know about the disappearance for sometime afterwards. But if you were questioned and interviewed just days later by a few different groups... I personally can't fathom what might help jog the memory almost 3 months later.

It should be just about right or pretty close from accident scene to 116 that goes into haverhill. I'll measure it out next trip that way.
