Judged: 2 2 2 Well, whether you buy it or not does not mean it wasn't possible, right? Consider this case, Megan Meier was 14 years old when she committed suicide by hanging herself over bullying over the internet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_of_Megan... Would you also say you 'don't buy' that someone would committ suicide over internet comments on Facebook? Also consider that your statement "but I don't buy running off or contemplating suicide over 79 bucks. is a little misleading, isn't it? Because it wasn't just 79 bucks, it was a criminal offense by stealing 79 bucks, as well as all the other things in her life, some that we know about and some we surely don't know about. It was not just 79 bucks, it was the criminal offense, the crash of her dads car, the dismissal from West Point, and who knows what other personal issues that only she knew about inside her head. It was culmulative, as these things always are. Not just 79 bucks. |

don't bother to ed-u-cate. protecting MM and casually dismissing her actions has been assigned to defend on topix and around other forums. more than the $79., which could have been a mis-step, is the pattern of difficulties and relationships revealed here and there to the public which speaks to complicated circumstances and interplay leading up to her disappearance. |

New post by Renner up: "Was Maura about to be expelled from UMass?"

Judged: 1 "CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) checks are required by most clinical agencies and will be completed on all students and faculty once they are admitted to the program and yearly thereafter. Progression and clinical placements in the nursing program may be contingent upon a satisfactory CORI investigation. Please review the website at www.mass.gov/hhs/cori/ for more details on CORI checks." and "One of the criteria for application for licensure involves the determination of “good moral character.” Failure to meet this criterion could delay or prevent licensure. Please refer to the Mass.gov website: www.mass.gov/dph/boards/rn for complete information. It is the student’s responsibility to seek legal guidance with any concerns about meeting these criteria". |

Not to mention that anywhere you work as a Health Care Professional requires a CORI and/or BCI.... |
|
Judged: 1 1 1 I missed your point, because you didn't really state your point. If it wasn't just the 79 bucks, then why did you say That says to me you don't think she would consider suicide over 79 bucks? |

Judged: 2 1 1 Snowy you are wrong to assume that family members knew anything about a credit card issue. |

Judged: 1 1 Copying part of my own post (last post on previous page): "CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) checks are required by most clinical agencies and will be completed on all students and faculty once they are admitted to the program and yearly thereafter." Was she at risk of being terminated from the nursing school? |

Judged: 2 1 1 citigirl, I wholeheartedly agree with you on this point. Whatever Maura may or may not have done, it is a matter of unfortunate fact that she is missing since nearly eight years. That is heart-breaking, whatever the facts and circumstances leading up to her disappearance might have been. |
That is a very good point. I myself was rushing to think she was short on money as well. Never would have thought about the control issue. |
|
Judged: 1 Excellent Post I agree the fact that the father never told anyone about this that might have helped in the search. What else is he holding back and why not tell anyone if you really want your daughter found. Makes me wonder what else he knows. |
