Tom wrote: <quoted text> What do you mean the litany of offenses? Most of I write is based on the facts that came from Renner's blog. Maybe I don't use politically correct words when describing her actions. However in the english language - one who steals is a Thief. You don't have to agree with what I write, but you should be careful about how much you stick your neck out for this girl. You never know what is going to come out next about her in Renner's blog. Tom, James Renner only has part of the story -- Maura's backstory and what LE chooses to tell him. What's missing is what happened the night of February 9th, 2004 and what took place in the days, weeks and month after that. Mr Renner was turfed out on his ear by BM, the owner of SSS, so he has no access to all the information from when WM, BM's wife, was FM's eyes and ears. The most important part of MM's disappearance and the facts surrounding the night she vanished are absent from Mr. Renner's blog.

Do you include FRMLE?

I appreciate your post. Ofcourse he doesn't have all the facts. I have stated in my post you quoted that the facts he does have apprently can't even be used if it brings heat to Maura and her family. If Maura steals and I call her a theif - I'm the bad guy. Fred Murray gets a pass, but Tom called Maura a thief lets write some posts about him calling her a Theif. What about an inner city kid who wants to be accepted into a gang steals a car? Or maybe he doesn't even steal he just hangs out with the wrong crowd. If he goes missing tonight you think he's going to get his own blog. I doubt it. The point I'm making is a lot of the Maura Murray fans are in denial and don't want to pull themselves away from the drama they have created about her.

Two weeks after the June 8th press conference, about June 22nd they recollected the items found in her car from Kathleen, impounded her car, and stated they conducted forensics. The computer hard drive, if memory serves me was picked up two week earlier at UMASS, than the stuff from Kathleen.

it is refreshing to see a random poster come along and cut through the BS / drama. he gets it; calls a spade a spade. it's also good to feel released from the hoodwinking by having an independent source other than Topix where fact-checking is in progress.

MCSMom Are you aware of forensics being done on the duct tape and hair?I sounds like you have knowledge of it by one of your previous posts to FRMLee. I haven't heard anything further on the issue since the original Mathew post.

Citigirl wrote: no it was not handled like a crime scene because LE belived she was a run away and wanted to go missing in the early days that Maura disappeared. the vehicle was towed and the tow driver did what he was instructed to do by LE. I believe it was in april of 04 that a local news paper up there took a photo of Mauras car and published this photo in there news paper.the drivers door was open and this photo was in there local newspaper.I dont know at what point but after this the vehicle was taken to the state police barracks. if there was ever any evidence in her vehicle I would have to consider it tainted with no wrong doing of the guy who towed it. the public had access to this vehicle before state police took custody of it. Citigirl, It is my impression that unless skin, flesh and blood is found in or on abandoned vehicles....they are treated as just that...abandoned vehicles. The Saturn Maura was driving was approximately 130 miles from Amherst (had out-of-state license plates)..quite some distance from home. In fact, the car was registered to Mr. M, if we are to believe information available to the public. If the car was registered to Mr. M...this meant that the owner lived even greater distance from where the car had been "abandoned." No one thought this a bit strange...a car abandoned by an owner living quite some distance away? Why? Because according to some posters on this forum, all cars are treated like abandoned vehicles and towed off to local garages. Unless, of course, a body is found in or around the car, this is the procedure? Then, if after 2 or 3 or 8 years....or 10 years passes and the driver does not show up anywhere.....the situation is either treated as suspicious or possible foul play? Then the alarm goes out and a lot of back-tracking occurs? Evidence if any has long ago been compromised. Then we hear about all of the "if only we had......" statements. Too little too late?...but what then? Changes? No. Doin' the same old same old? Yes. I'm waiting for the time when attempts are made to convince everyone that all of the missing 2,3 and 4-year olds have simply run away to commit suicide or to start a new life. Violence? No way...not here in America Land. Sounds insane, doesn't it. Sounds insane because it IS insanity at its finest. Not everyone runs away to commit suicide. However, this belief about they all run off to commit suicide is much easier than taking all of these disappearances seriously. Lookin' good is what it seems to be all about.

Maybe Bruno's was the late night call back to Maura to the security desk phone? Or another student who received a call about a pizza? Or a second sting operation and Vasi was hit? Amherst police said they had a potential witness to the Vasi accident, and that they were waiting for that person to come forward.
