Also, I would like to add that the local LE have been helpful obviously with Peri and someone else I know that has been in communication with LE - and not me.

And what do you know - they ACTUALLY respond in a letter oN LETTERHEAD - in writing. Something that could later be used in a court of law if needed...

Now don't ya think if that affidavit was real it would be on letter head too..

So, who do you think wrote it and why? Remember this came from Maura's file that was in public records in the library. Can anyone put papers in that?

NO it did not come from the file. A poster said they went to the court house and "got it". It has never been produced - ie scanned copy etc. Only the text has been written here. That is it. It has only been typed up on topix. I also got confirmation at one time from the family - they also have NEVER seen a copy on letter head. I am still waiting to hear from EBW on what federal law she is citing in her post? Especially since it is a wireless carrier quoted. Public Utilities Commission over see's landline phones and wireless carriers - operate autonomously and without the STRICT guidelines of telcos. VERY STRICT. I want a copy of this "law". that is nonsense.

why post lies. that is what I want to know. It does not help the maura murray case and what angers me is that another missing persons family could read something like that....... and go off on a wild goose chase - wasting prescious time trying to find a loved one.

It is negligent.. and as Bill says he is here to keep the hemroid in check. I am here to make sure people know what they can or cant do with BOTH landline

Dawn, I distinctly remember a conversation perhaps over 1 year ago. And I could have sworn that WW told us she got it from the courthouse. That somebody told her to go down and look in the file and then she proceeded to send it to Helena. Does anyone else remember this?

It was not on letter head. That is all I am saying. Your choice - accept it or not. It is what it is. IMO its not the way they handle business. They reply with letter head and very proffessionally too boot. Your choice.

Sara, yes I do and she stated she had a conversation with the le involved. I found it was an interesting position she was in when she found the only paper left for the public in Mauras file.

I remember this and it's just the way you worded it, it just seems more like 2 years have gone by since then. Some people gave her grief though, for helping out. We may never know more about this paper....unless White Wash comes back and is willing to go into it all over again.

for the record WW is a friend of mine. I do NOT doubt she found a paper...however,,as I have told her I do not believe it to be a FACT. there are so very LITTLE facts about this case.

If NH LE use letter head to reply to an internet poster. For an official document it would also have that information.

Knowing the family has NEVER seen an official document..........and if it is official - and PUBLIC - why was this not part of the documents released to Mr.Fred Murray from the FIO.

EWB... I am right there with sister wanting to scream....it boggles my mind... how things are posted and taken as FACT..

i could give some examples .. but i wont. WTF/Wowzer/Snowy know what i am talking about here... I fell for this hook line and sinker for about 8 months.. then I realize not ONCE is it mentioned on the FAMILYS website - OR in any printed article - print something dubious - slander/libel..

NOPE / NADA.. only found on topix...so... I take it as the same value WTF states..

I have no idea who typed it. If they go to reply to an internet poster with a 3 -page PDF - typed the works.. They don't leave papers just hanging around the court house.

which comes to my next statement which i have known since this was brought up but choose to watch the last almost 1 3/4 years. is.. it has never been produced nor stamped as received by the courts. If I was Tod Landry - I would follow up.. however - there is a reason it was brought to light... Why? whoever wrote it did some research but not enough - so it was typed in my opinion in haste. because anyone here can take 10 minutes on the interent and see what i am saying is TRUE.... that is what was such a red flag...

if they did some research - they could have posted that looked something more legit.. I think that is what they wanted.. because Tod could say.. HELL NO I didn't write that.. look at all my other requests.. I have seen so many of these.......... sine 1990.......... its like come on.,. Had a great talk today with a lawyer friend... because this really bothers me.. because it does not just affect maura's case. this was stated as FEDERAL F'ing Law. and its bull crap. its MEAN vindicitive.. what kind of person gets a thrill out of that.

I never heard that WW conversed with Todd Landry,, is that new? or something before I knew about the case.. That is interesting because I was not aware they spoke. He clearly could take action.. but you never know what or why they say things.. just like with a ann rule book I am reading right now. Her new one.. sometimes little tips are leaked to see..a reaction helps eliminate theories ..

I am so glad the pink elephant is out of the room and we can now say that others have been in contact with LE. I myself.. would never... I did contact the mmm website of course because i was so moved by the case.

i still can't believe it was 3 or 4months or so until i even heard the song.. i had my pc muted and then i got headphones for a training online.. i clicked on the site.. i googled everywhere to find the artists I thought for sure it was sara mclachlan... low and behold. its JENNI BROOKS from Boston... breaks my hear everytime i listen but I can't stop listening so.. the young lady has talent.. and she writes and plays herself.. what a dreadful heartache to write that song......... but we all benefit.. its a gift.. the gift of music.. so few people can do that.. and get a feeling across.. it makes me sad.. but i can relate.. why others dont mention here.. i have no idea.. you cant have a heart and have that song get to your heart strings.. period..
