Wow! I didn't realize just how little you really know.

jwb wrote: <quoted text> My Point that I was making is that in regards to the repost that I put up. Beagle writes a story on his Blog about his job at walmart. His Blog was already made Public from the Picture that Mr Renner posted that Linked to Beagles Blog. I Took Beagles Real Name off of the re post I had put out. frostman saw this and immediately thanked me for doing so. Tom ,yourself and others started at me as if i published so unknown article or actually said something bad about beagle in my own words. to the contrary I have said it humanizes him in a good way. #1 is that Beagle's blog was already "public" before any of you came on the scene. it's not new news. #2 my complaint about the John Green character is his zeal to deliver Beagle to the gallows. #3 my concern for Tom's right to express his viewpoint is greater than for all the attention-seekers.

My take is they(Family) feels she met with foul play and that might just be the case who knows. We have all given our own view points and it is well documented. They are just views and opinions based on what little is known. Fred is haunted by the 9-10 minutes from the time that SBD saw her and police arrived. The Haverhill pd is documented as to what they did. Fred is still requesting info as to what the NHSP did during his time there. I don't think it is an unreasonable request or response from him.He feels powerless and I can truly understand or at least sympathize with him.

Given Beagle's propensity for untruths and wildly over dramatic claims, suggestions, hints and (veiled or otherwise) accusations, why is anyone assuming the tales in 'Passing Through Town' have any basis in fact. Reading the blog, and observing recent events, I see Beagle more as an aspiring writer of fiction and compulsive attention seeker than anything else. I see know reason to believe anything he says. Or to believe he believes it either. Whatever his motivation, I'm inclined to think EVERYTHING he puts in the public domain is carefully contrived fantasy devised to illicit reactions and nothing more. I don't just mean the being questioned regarding MM but the whole 'I work at Walmart and live on the streets' thing. Take it all with a pinch of salt. Including the stylised pathos, street smart declarations and sympathy pleas.

It was brought up again and I was forced to defend myself. oh, dear...i was being sarcastic, again. to "get along" were your sentiments last week. or this week. it's been a long week. history proves it's difficult to achieve compatibility at most levels here. i'd say it's human nature to gravitate toward those whom you trust, feel comfortable engaging, and where there is a mutual level of respect, freely shared. so that divides us all up fairly UNevenly here. at some point, the whole conversation is really reduced to defending one's own principles and beliefs, which is beyond the topic of MM. since her disappearance has been used to condemn, i believe it is more meaningful to sift through the junk and take away some lessons from this experience.

Agree, but pertaining to #3 I also have the same right to expressmy view points. You want to give Tom all this rope yet you are quick to attack all others when they post a view point. We are all looking to be able to express our views. I didn't express but merely reposted.I agree that John Green went way further than I did (leaps and bounds farther) but that is his deal and I am not going to judge him for it.

Agree, I have learned allot from my experience here on Topix. Life is a journey of constant learning to be a better person. This type of forum as we have witnessed can be taxing at times, but I still respect everyone that posts here regardless of difference of opinions.

The other two videos are theater but the ticket just makes me wonder. A homeless man that still has a ticket from Bretton woods 2004? I don't know how to explain that one.

Maybe not- just going from his Blog stories of him being homeless. It could be all theater for all we know.

I just want to thank everyone here at topix for allowing me to reach the plateau of the welcoming committee. Tom, I want to thank you for expediting my journey. To that I say salute.

Just me_Paris-- wrote: <quoted text> Again, I didn't mean anything bad. I know the trouble Fred had with that piece of evidence. I just didn't know it was in plastic, and that's good. You know how they can claim the evidence has been tainted or compromised, that's all I meant. I would think that the principle issue with the knife would be chain of custody, not so much evidence tampering. While I'm sure the person who gave it to FM was just trying to be helpful, and that FM was trying to salvage whatever value was left in this piece of evidence, I don't think after having such an unorthodox chain of custody that this piece of evidence would have any use whatsoever at this point. Perhaps it could lead them in the direction of the perpetrator if in fact it was ever connected, but apart from that it's essentially useless, if I'm not mistaken.
