I would agree that it probably doesn't much matter. Although, there are a number of ways in which this could ultimately further the case. It sounds callous to say, because I'm sure it must be awful for MM's family assuming they're following any of this- but I mean, renewed attention to the case, no matter how grotesque the cause for the renewed attention is never a bad thing.

the subject takes on a life of its own....sometimes it has less than more to do with MM.
her disappearance has become a opportunity for people to act out their unique neuroses. i think it comes with the territory on forums. some of it involves the use of multi-monikers. oh, well.

I don't think it is but I don't remember beagle being involved on that Forum.I am just confused and somewhat amused.The first three vids appear to be linked the last two are more of a mystery.

here is my example of the taunting. it comes from the Gold star video:

Judging by ISP locations and general posting styles, it would appear that more than one poster on two separate Franconia/Topix threads have a dog in both fights. Or is it one fight?

One Topix/Franconia thread concerns the disappearance of Maura Murray. The other Topix/Franconia thread concerns the death of Patric McCarthy. These are two entirely unrelated cases.

Yet both threads appear to be dominated by the same opposing camps that contribute heavily to both threads. Maura Murray's father and Patric McCarthy's mother are both represented by Cape Cod attorney Terrance O'Connell, who, according to reports in the Cape Cod Times, is also a private detective and a former Sandwich Massachusetts police officer.

And then there's this story in the Cape Cod Times about the internal affairs of the Sandwich Massachusetts Police Department.

Maybe it's about the posters who were on the PC forum and also Beagle's interaction with one of those posters on this forum?

That is what I am beginning to think but the links to the PM Docs are confusing as I never saw Beagle posting on that Forum.

I still haven't had the time to read it all. I too busy right now. I will get to it as soon as I can. But I can tell you this. There are basically three camps. There is the camp that his death was accidental which is backed up by forensics, the police, FBI, fish and game, and every other professional agency that has reviewed this case. The second camp is the fathers side who claims that someone murdered and then carried Patric up there. That fathers side was/is represented by T.O not the mothers. The mothers friend had explained that to me in the forum. I can't express strongly enough to you, how little I think of him with respect to Patric's case. Then their is the Mothers side that I still don't know if they really believe the murder theory but they clearly seem to hold the Father and Step Mother responsible for lack of oversight and then they also seem to believe that the stepchild(ren) and possibly others are involved.

I can tell you that I have never heard anyone who thinks these cases are in anyway connected except they both include T.O.

That is one other quick point to make. I don't know of, or every remember, Beagle being involved with the Patric case in any way, shape or form. If anyone remembers or can point to him being involved, I would be interested in hearing it.

"O'Connell has not held the state police in high regard ever since a meeting he had with Scarinza and New Hampshire State Police Detective Sergeant Chuck West on May 27, 2004. At the time O'Connell had just finished his investigation into the death Patric McCarthy, another case he worked on before Maura's. West and Scarinza were the lead investigators on McCarthy's case for the state police and were initially also the leads on Maura's case. The New Hampshire State Police determined Patric had died an accidental death. However, O'Connell and his team determined Patric was in fact murdered. From O'Connell's recollection, what happened at the meeting is an example of the attitude the New Hampshire State Police had about Patric McCarthy's death and Maura's disappearance. O'Connell wanted to get the FBI to persuade the state police to reopen Patric's case, in the hopes that it would officially West had a smirk on his face when he spoke. "You Massachusetts people keep getting lost up here."

OK. I finished reading them. This is the first time I have read Dr. Mires report. I had never seen that document before. I will add that there are large pieces of that document where she ranges far from what she actually knows and it shows. There are statements in that document that are a serious embarrassment to her by anyone who knows the subjects that she is writing about.

Now I am referring about the last three posts. I don't see any connections. I suspect it might be more of a person trying to piggy back on the Maura debacle and generate some free publicity for their cause. Particularly the relationship with Pomerleau and the Hoadley investigations.

Now I will say this also. I believe that I remember Beagle having some axe to grind with the catholic church. You will need to excuse me about being fuzzy on this. I really, hardly every read any of Beagles posts.

Just my thoughts.
