No, I did not see them. Advocate emailed me last night after I posted my email address to someone else here. She emailed to say hello, welcome to the forum, and address a previous question I had asked a few days ago.

I told her about the research I'm doing, and she mentioned her forum. She mentioned certain documents were lost. I thought I would ask around here.

I don't understand all the paranoia and rudeness and drama on this board.

Good grief. Nevermind. I'll find what I'm looking for elsewhere.

Yes I've heard that rumor. I can't remember who started it but it's been around for awhile. IMHO it's just a rumor that's grown bigger thru the years.
If I remember correctly it went from someone maybe dressed in a service uniform to someone in a police uniform to maybe it was someone in the local PD to maybe it was the State Trooper who stopped and offered to help.

Regarding petrol and potential implications regarding suicidal thoughts or running away, it's important to remember that a decision take one's own life isn't necessarily premeditated and neither ois fleeing. The wierdest thing for me is still the rag in the tailpipe thing. I don't get how or why it got there and I'd love to hear people's theories as to why it was there and who placed it. See, if MM had the presence of mind to shove it there herself after the accident, to obstensively protect the car from theft, then I can't see her being erratic/hyserical enough to run off aimlessly or top herself straight after. Yes this is what I am saying.

I made my own map based on reported activity.
I am aware LE has a similiar map.

Some work on the net and anyone can make there own map.

After I got talking to some sk buffs on the net they told me about these roadside abductions of women. Two different people told me to look into the "Valley" killer.

What i am saying is that information such as this makes me not be able to rule out foul play.

And thats what I was attempting to do.

Research, to have any meaning must have a modality. It must be available to anyone to view so peers can determine what value it has an if norms of proper research were followed. What was your criteria to include and not include events in your study? What times and geographic areas does it cover. I assume it was some kind of retrospective study. Where did you get the data? Any follow up to determine if the people were every found? Does someone who disappears and is found dead from stab wounds in 1967 have any relationship with someone found dead from stab would in 2008 twenty miles away? Was it the same person? There is a possibility that there was a serial killer operating in the CT river valley a decade ago. Do you think that same person is responsible for Maura's disappearance?

I'd love to see this map, where can it be viewed? I'll give you an easy way to do it. You can create a Google earth map so that anyone can view your data. I have made several. Easy as pie and I'm no cook.

Not that I don't trust your serial killer gurus. Though, if you could mention their credentials I would feel better.

I have always consider the rag a red herring. It has no meaning. It cannot stall a car. I have no idea who put it there and have no idea why anyone pays it any mind. I don't even know for certain that it was there during the crash. It certainly wasn't listed in the police officers report.

Didn't her father say he told her to use the rag to keep the car from smoking or some such thing?
The question still remains when did she put the rag in and why would she try to keep the smoke from being conspicuous. If she did in fact place the rag in the pipe.

It was a simple excersise to see if she was in an area where she could have fallen prey to a sk.

My answer to that was "yes".

Therefore i cant discount it.

You can get your own data rather easily and put it together yourself.

My conclusion was simple really.

There's a large span of years between crimes. Notice that as crimes went up so did the population of VT and NH as more people moved here.

LE usually dont tell the public till after their caught. That article was the wrong one for my point but good article on this case.
Look around for info on sk.. im mobile today.

My main point was I can't rule out she wasnt grabbed by one.

So it circles me back around to the three things Ive mentioned.

Ok. My check was just to see if your answer "yes" has any actual meaning. I just figure if you are actually going to expend the effort, why not make something that everyone can use.

Would you mind telling us what components of your research led you to believe that an active serial killer is in the area? I'm not trying to be a wise guy here. For me to put any stock in it (or you for that matter) you should at least be able to qualify why it is you believe what you believe. If not for us, be honest with yourself. You say you want to help. How does using possibly tainted data help anyone, least of all Maura?
