Until then this is where I feel the safest, surrounded by my friends and family. Sorry for the loss of your best friend. That's a real bummer. I will be happy to stop by Your cozy little doorstep and drop off the proof Myself when that time comes. John

Sometimes I think it, I type it and before I hit the send button it's already on the board! Was Mudgett also Jack the Ripper?

Oh you're all in trouble now. Way too many posts with SK and NH in them. I happen to love NH. It's where I go to relax and hike and read. Beauty abounds there. However to say bad things don't happen there is untrue. They happen everywhere.

jwb wrote: No one here is saying that for certain Maura met with a serial Killer but the possibility does exist and can't be ruled out. The NHSP can,t rule out foul play at this time. JWB....I Agree I as well am not stating as fact that Maura was abducted by a serial killer.... BUT I am stating that THERE WAS a Serial Killer in the area back in the mid 70's thru the late 80's and IT IS POSSIBLE that there is a Serial Killer STILL operating in the CRV. Show Me proof otherwise.! John

However to say bad things don't happen there is untrue. They happen everywhere. May I ask where you've seen anyone say that bad things don't happen here? Of course they do, bad things happen everywhere. It seems that NH has been in the negative light for 8 years though. There's many much worse and dangerous places than NH. If Maura didn't crash her car where she did would everyone still think this area was a twilight zone as it has been called many times?

Goodness knows what wars and bullying do to people... sometimes they drive people to destruction and other times despair. Singapore noodles sound good. Lobster chow mein. mmm.

People come here in droves because it is so beautiful here. Just because we are on a forum of a missing girl that has been missing for 8 years does not correlate to peoples view of NH. NH ranks well with one of the countries lowest murder rate if not the lowest in the country. http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/murder-rates-... It still doesn't mean that it doesn't exist at all. NH is pretty safe

jwb wrote: NH looks like the safest. Interesting... all the low crime states are in the north. Maybe it's like... I really want to kill my neighbor, but nah, way too cold tonight and besides I'll have to put on my parka and overboots. Maybe next year. "Conundrum" Wine (California) is great with Chinese food.

I live here and never feel defensive about suggestions of foul play or SK. You would have to have your head in the sand to think that it doesn't occur in your backyard. another stupid post. i've been around here for a number of years. where have you been?
