Based on Renners notes it seems they may know her last location and I am not talking about 100 yards away. I wonder if other evidence such as a back pack or liquor bottle may have been found in later searches to determine the last place she may have been. Why else would they think RF statements were credible and LE strongly believing he saw Maura. Base elevation at Monteau is 840 feet.

History are things that happened in the PAST...I understand there was bashing a long time ago.I clearly understand your position , you are fixated on what happened then. Its over.No locals are being bashed now.But it would be ignorant of me not to consider every person as suspect.Including locals.Including you.

That would technically make these statements the "latest developments," and there has been no new info or new statements from LE since then.

Renner has posted in his blog he has thousands of pages of documents and to this day has not posted one. Now he is stating on his blog Why the records were not released. Why would they release them to Renner as he has claimed to have recieved thousands of pages of documents concerning Maura and not Fred? Renner has posted that this is much an active case. Well we all new that because it was turned over to the cold case unit some time ago.

"Knowing exactly where we determined the last place she was could be valuable information to that person." This sentence makes no sense to me.That person they refer to was probably also in the last place with her..So how could that be valuable information to the POI?unless of course the POI was in a blackout.

I also see most of the "update" links are from posters.. So, I could be a writer, just getting people to give me links & stuff? Spend a couple benjamins & then a few more to publish my book??

Read over it again ( http://mauramurray.blogspot.com/2012/02/recor... )- I believe only ones that have been made public were given to him. There is more than 10 pages. It is probably taking him time to go through them all and see which ones may be relevant to the case. Just a guess.

It means LE doesn't want the POI to know where LE believes the last place Maura was at. Possibly,(for example)it is on record that LE thinks Maura was seen at a house 5 miles from the accident scene. When they interrogate the POI, they tell him they found MM in the woods. The POI says "Then it couldn't have been me, I was at this house five miles form the accident scene..." So, the POI not knowing where they think she was might help. However, I think the AG was telling a white lie anyway.

Read on a site from 2008, type in Maura Murry +Updates on google Also in the report is an affidavit from assistant AG Jeff Strelzin, who tells the court that he believes there is a 75% chance that criminal charges will be filed in this case. Same as above^^^

Your explanation makes perfect sense. But then it gets me thinking, they believe they know the last place she was..How?Who told them? What evidence?Rug?Knife maybe? But in reality her remains would be in the very last place she is/was.

And there's the rub, my friend. That is why I think they are lying to cover their butts...they don't know, and are not confident in their educated guesses. They MAY have found evidence somewhere, leading them to believe she WAS somewhere and then was "moved" after the incident. When I hear them say "the last place she was," I take 'was' to mean 'alive,' since they think a crime took place.
