NO...I have always stated there was no damage to the Large Pine Trees that was caused by a vehicle crash especially by the saturn. Years past I did say there was a scar on the big tree that was from previous snowplow damage or possible accident.

The 4th tree in the smaller stand of 7 balsam trees does not have actual damage to the tree but the lower branches are trimmed up about a foot indicating that maybe some of those lower branches were broken and then the tree was trimmed up to make it look more uniform.

Does that same log show him clearing the hospital from the suicide call @11:07 PM but yet at 10:41 PM he is
"checking a vehicle at the Agway parking lot" The Texas vehicle.

How can this be? There is also the missing 2 1/2 hrs on the log just before Maura's accident, that cannot be accounted for. Where did it go? Where is Waldo? How convenient.!

I don't believe anyone who says they have inside knowledge, about this case or another poster or anything else, unless they are willing to say who they are or can otherwise back up their statements with some solid proof.

I'm not trying to tell anyone else what to do. It's just the most objective way I can think of to look at things.

My full name and contact info are in my profile. Anyone may check me out or contact me at any time. And I am nobody special. I don't think it's unfair to ask the same from anyone claiming to have special knowledge. I respect anonymity, but I don't think it's right to hide behind a screen name while claiming to have insider information.

Just my opinion, which I understand is not worth much here.:-)

I don't think that Det. Columbo has an agenda or is trying to hide anything. Very easy to figure out who he is. Someone that acts with tact and grace and thoughtfulness about the case for all of these years has my full respect. If all you can come on here and say is FACT, STUPID, SHOW ME THE PROOF STUPID, SHOW ME THE MONEY (actually no one has said that but I just felt like adding it). Those are the posts that I don't trust for one single second. See through, just completely see through.

peanuts peanuts, I love peanuts. Keep 'em coming. there are a few people here on the forum that detract from the case every single chance they get. They offer no real information or help for anyone, they are caustic and rude. I have no idea why, but their agenda is the same across a wide spectrum of forums, so that says to me that they just like to argue and call people dumb, make fun of spelling, etc.. But really their contribution here is nil. I have no idea why they stick around only to be bored by us, disgusted, tired, we're just windmilling, whoosh, whoosh. maybe it's entertainment? I am on here to talk about Maura, so I think that this is my last post that will reference the three or so people here who deflect. Not worth my time or energy. I have a life outside of the board, very busy, full of things I love, I have a damn farm for goodness sake, the ducks and chickens need tending too... from now on I ignore the negative people here. On to more important things like Maura and what happened to her. Gotta go collect some eggs...

I know how it feels to have lost someone very special in my life, we had our whole life ahead of us, & in an instant it was taken.. I cant say I know how it feels to lose a child that I was able to help raise but I will release that my wife was a little over 7mnths pregnant when, on that fatefull day in July, they were taken from me forever :(

Everyone is entitled to their opinion about this case, columbo is as well. The difference is he purports to have some inside knowledge of the facts of this case, but he does not. Because he was never a cop and he is not a PI.

He is just a citizen with an opinion, I simply suggest that everyone give his opinion the weight it deserves.

This forum has grown beyond my ability to track, since those nonsense vidoes appeared I just don't have the time to read all the posts and once you lose track of current conversations you feel dated. No, I didn't see the video myself, at that time it was in evidence and when I reviewed the case there was no copy in the file. I did read the case supplement regarding the video, there was nothing significant about the video as I recall.

Au contraire, I have absolutely no concern about what people believe or don't believe. Everyone has their opinion and it makes no difference to me what people believe.

What bothers me is some guy who is just another person with no background other than internet blogging, who feels inadequate about himself and his opinions, and decides to make up some background about being a cop and a "PI" so that his opinion has more value and he can be the "big man on the internet".
