Amy can you please please answer Snowy's questions, she's SO damn tiring. She never talks about the case, just slams everyone else. I'm so tired of it, I wish there was a button on here somewhere so that we could just skip over stuff. I know you've clarified over and over again, but can you just spell it out for the dumbfounded Snowy, she can't get it. I know you don't believe that Det. Columbo is Healey, this we understand, you don't want to reveal his identity, this we get. You checked his work and his affiliation with the Murray family, is that correct, linked his FB account and e-mail to who he says he is. Is that enough. I do think so. carry on.

You came here and said you knew for a fact that Columbo is a liar, that he is a fraud, and that new posters should not believe a word he says. That made me think, "Hey, I've told this guy some private stuff. Maybe I should check him out a little better." I'm sorry I became involved in this discussion. I was only trying My intent had the desired result, which is to warn new members that everyone here is NOT who they say they are. In my opinion you were wise to want to check out what he told you, I would follow through and verify that he is a PI, and that he was a cop. Once you do then it would be helpful to know the outcome of your investigation. I will say that I don't quite understand why if he has claimed to be a PI, working this case, and has been quoted in numerous media articles, that he is not in the realm of open source? Why can't you post the news articles? That is not private, it was out there for everyone to read right? I don't understand that, sorry.

Err....maybe I should remember that I'm not on a local Topix. It's 51 in Chicago - beautiful! ----- I hate to even bring this up - but has anyone seen the latest few videos on Mr112Dirtbag's channel? There's one specifically dedicated to EDove (aka Emmett (sp?)) called 'I feel the love' from about 16 hrs. ago. Meh. I don't see why the fixation upon Mr. Dove, a new poster here at Topix...unless Beagle noted his proclivity to actually caring what people say - and is taking advantage of him for that....I hope you don't let it get to you, Emmett.

Snowy, You are posting anonymously. I am not posting anonymously. My name is Amy Derby. I was born on November 12, 1979 in Hinsdale IL. I currently live in Tinley Park, a southwest suburb of Chicago. I have lived in San Francisco, Memphis, Deltona Florida and Tunnel Hill Georgia. I never been to New England. Until 2004, I worked for DLA Piper in Chicago. At that time, the name of the firm was still Piper Rudnick. I began working there as a receptionist when the firm was still Rudnick and Wolfe, before I became a paralegal. I am grateful for that job, as it trained me to deal with rude people. Since that time, I have worked from home. My current employers are listed on my website, which is amyderby.org . That website also lists my LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter accounts. I would post my phone number for you, but that's probably against the rules here. If you email me at amyderby@gmail.com, I will provide it to you. Good grief. Anything else anyone wants to know?

I only ask because I can verify that Amy Derby is in fact a paralegal in the Southwest suburbs of Illinois - and that the email she has listed here, matches up with the email on her website. Furthermore, she used to blog for construction law in some fashion (correct me if I am wrong, Amy) and I believe worked with/for DLA Piper or Piper Rudnick (law firms). I think she is legit, and I only bring this up because, being from the area, I could tell if she was B.S.'ing on the firms she is with, etc. Although, this is assuming you trust I am who I say I am -- google SimplyCaustic, I'm sure my FB, old MySpace, gmail, etc. will come up. And hell, I work for the state's attorney - whomever chose to could email me at my work address to verify. Unfortunately, I'm not cool enough to have to verify my identity, so I'm trying to live vicariously through the Amy thing. Darn it! Hope youse guyse are enjoying the beautiful weather! Maybe we'll be accused of being the same person next. LOL. I give up. I didn't actually blog about construction law, but Chris (whose article you came across on his blog that is on page one of Google) did write about me on his construction law blog once. I was doing law blog consulting then. Got tired of it and went back to doing paralegal work. I also once worked at McDonalds. I was 19 and quit after a couple days, but apparently listing a full resume is a requirement to post here on topix. Wouldn't want to leave anything out. ;-)

No one asked Amy to prove who she was. I was simply asking her to clarify a statement she made where she verified Det. Columbos credentials. I find it interesting that he provided her with credentials, but refuses to do so with the forum. Why is that? I also find it interesting that he represented to her that he is working for the Murray family, however I do not recall him EVER saying that here.

My point being, I am who I say I am. I'm willing to prove it. I have nothing to hide. I'm sorry, but it cracks me up that you seem to continue to infer that I have some hidden agenda here, the multimoniker comment? The new people here are frauds comment? If that was directed at me, I would like to clear that up. That's insulting. All untrue. I am one of a relatively small number of posters here who, as far as I can tell, cares about integrity and the truth. I am not intentionally rude to anyone, I try to be objective, and I give people the benefit of the doubt. Even you.:-) Believe it or not, I agree with most of what you say here. Except for when you are outright insulting, or you are accusing people of not being who they say they are just because they don't have a static IP address. I'm finished talking about this nonsense. This forum is about a missing woman, not me. My apologies to Maura's family members who might here.
