Ya know, I don't understand the sarcasm. I don't understand the snide remarks. I don't understand why some think it's bothersome to be discussing a missing person.

And yet, those that make these observations just continue to remain around....why in heaven's name do you stay? Those same people question why others stay around.....how about they question their own motives for hanging around???

I am a member of Websleuths. I find it a better environment there because rudeness, snideness, and argumentative overtones are not tolerated there. Just the other day, one of the posters had their posting edited for "rudeness" and then was banned altogether.

I will post over there in the event anyone is interested in maybe, possibly picking up on some ideas/theories over there. There's more civility ... also, you can send a private message if you want to.

Where did you see anyone say that it was bothersome to discuss a missing person?
Funny how one persons statement or question is another persons snide or rude remark. Interesting.
Did it ever enter your mind that maybe some stay for the same reasons that you keep coming back.

What do you think a flatbed FLOATS over lawn LIFTS a car
on to the road?
She wasn't in the road!
She was well off to the side!
I have never talked to the Marrotte's oddly the neighbors I did
talk to thought they where not home!
What did they tell you MCSMOM when you talked to them?

Thanks for bringing that up.

It was I. I requested to be banned. It is one of the least tolerant sites I have ever seen and primarily created and run by women who prefer cozy atmosphere, hand wringing, and breast beating as opposed to logical thought and brutal honesty. I had warned her before that I would not tolerate her modifying my posts when she did it once before. I gave the moderator a large piece of my mind before I left. It was no problem, I can spare it. I had told her to pound sand up her ass as well as some questions about her anatomical soundness and then insisted that I be banned because I don't want my name associated with that site.

That there are some that might find that site an easier environment to work isn't really a surprise. Of course I see little forward movement in that forum. Lots of hand holding and hugs and butterflies though.

In addition, it isn't bothersome to discuss someone who is missing the for the first year, or two or three or four. But, when absolutely no information comes in for six years but people keep going over the same information and instead of making it clearer they muddy it up and accidentally and sometimes intentionally change the information. That is where the sarcasm comes from.

WW, so, you haven't surfaced since I inquired if you are calling Smith's accident report false.

You've established yourself as a journalist with a close relationship to LE involved in this case, so some people tend to lend you some credibility and certainly you must be familiar with obstruction of justice.

If so, you're literally saying the information on this case is false, to include LE, FBI, legal proceedings, and witness statements....too numerous to mention at this time.

these are persistent busybodies who have inexplicably latched onto this missing person, and not in a particularly helpful way. they are neither professionals, nor do they have access to factual information from which to build a foundation for truth. much wheel-spinning and noise. they move from forum to forum in their attempts to gain momentum in a smear campaign which just doesn't seem to take hold.
mcsmom is particularly resentful about WW's being local and vocal. when the ball begins to roll, WW steps in to clarify and instruct.

Brad is the Captain of the Woodsville Fire Dept!
Abby is his wife and an member who where so kind to
meet with Fred Murray and the first PI.
And Fred got in Abby's face when she said she looked in the car!
The entire town has stepped up and tried to help and what do they
get in return!

Thank you bill. I won't even bother going to the other site. Logic in garbage out. For someone who didn't even know this missing person feels the need for POWER to edit a post -...... that would be the same as just reading a blog that person wrote. NOt intereested. I have to laugh at the join the talk at theories.......... SHOULD READ/......... join MY THEORIES - only the ONES I think have value. We have no idea what could have happened on that Feb night. Due to her age I think has been a HUGE dis SERVICE to Maura and friends - I say friends because the family refuses to state where she worked. Listen to the words to begging of each ID show. they themselves say its the most important info for a missing persons case- but this case - its not allowed. my guess is they have a much clearer picture of what happened .......... talk about lawsuits.. its too bad she wasn't married because with billy far away - he wouldnt have all the details where a spouse could have stood up anyway. Think if you were missing - elizabeth smart is excellent comparison. What IF? someone took her - she knew - someone who upset her at work? well. the family wont risk their reputation to find that out. I will go ahead and score this with a mean face since someone will anyway.. sometimes the truth is mean and it hurts.
