Are you suggesting that I am cyber-stalking someone? Because you really need to understand the "reasonable person" standard better. Not to mention what the term itself means.

Especially the part where I am telling him to scurry, flee, run away with my blessing.

well, i actually DO know of some individuals who literally "study" this every waking hour for 8 years.
frankly, i don't understand that level of curiosity. the cost-benefit is not on the plus side.

I'm baffled by your repeated claims of multi-monikered posters. I haven't seen any 'troll' activities here,(at least, not lately)- thought I spied some on the McCarty thread, but I may have been wrong.
I think it was implied a few weeks ago that perhaps Emmett was not Emmett - and I'll admit, a few of his posts ('over yonder' etc) gave me pause. I no longer think there's any feasibility he is a poseur.

In regards to Columbo - in Illinois, we have the Department of Professional Regulation, where you can check online to verify the professional license of the individual in question. I understand that Amy called the Dept. to verify the PI license of Columbo - but I also understand that any Joe Blow could easily give a name of a REAL PI, and thus be 'confirmed'. I don't know if Columbo would be willing to do this, but here in Illinois, we receive little business-card size licenses confirming our registration with the Department of Professional Regulation. He could easily block out his name, but only leave the "Private Investigator License" title viewable, and block out parts of his license number (so no one could find out his real name that way). He could post a link to tinypic or whatever site he chose, to upload the image, with the items blacked out. That would clearly verify him, and should end all discussion on the subject.
Heck, perhaps Renner wouldn't mind posting it (still blacked out, of course). The very possession of a private investigator license, in your hand, is excellent proof that you are a PI. Not indisputable, but nearly so.

John- they don't have a life, anyone that is on here that often doesn't have anything else. I feel badly for them in a way. You have to just feel sorry that after all of these years, and after being so tired of all the theories they STILL keep coming back, bored or not. That is sad...Maybe they live in the basement of Mom's house, eating chips and drinking diet coke just checking the boards, checking the boards.
