I´m on the verge of giving up entirely on Topix considering the direction this forum is taking.

I was Simply Caustic. I tried to register it, but it was taken. So, I took Simply Sarcasm. A few years ago, when I posted about two or three times (to ask a question), I also used Simply Caustic or Simply Sarcasm, can't remember which. This is the first time I've ever registered here.
But 'multi-monikered', at least to me, seems to suggest people posting concurrently under different names.....or being misleading, and acting as two different people. That's what I had thought you meant by multi-monikered.

I will preface this with saying that I do NOT know anything about LE in MA or NH. But, is it feasible that LE instructed/asked/told Beagle not to post on this thread anymore? Or perhaps Beagle just didn't want to be on this thread anymore? I don't know him, and therefore can't venture a guess.

Before anyone snaps on me for how ludicrous of an idea this is -- in Chicago, LE would have no problem telling someone not to post on a particular thread (which I would think is illegal, to tell someone where they can and can't exercise their right to free speech). LE here gets away with a lot - but we also had something like 40 murders last month alone, so there are different issues in different places. I'm not knocking LE.

Just got back from an invigorating bike ride and chanced upon your post.
Current Västerås temperature 34F/2C, clear skies and calm winds. Icy patches on the ground, no snow (regrettably for a winter lover...).
Daytime temps today close to 50F/10C, which is ridiculously high for southern Sweden in late February.
Somebody, please stop the spring for a few weeks...LOL...
Must check up on the no-go words yet again, but I believe the acronyms for a couple of those are NHSP and JKM, IIRC.

that is exactly how i define multi-monikered. yes, there has been evidence of one person posting under several monikers....sometimes a few monikers at once. it's impossible to know who / when....but especially in the past, it's been a fun game for a few people. and it is definitely misleading and unhelpful.
