Also, after the rag was found and pulled out, was the tailpipe ever checked to see if anything else had been shoved up in there? Maybe something else was shoved in to the pipe and the rag shoved in after to block the first item/s in place.

just a parting thought for the evening.... do we have to rewind the rag up the tailpipe - how far it was shoved - and what it was shoved with over and over and over again? i mean.....really.

I, with many hundreds of people will continue to hope that the truth of Maura's murder will be disclosed, because somebody will talk. My guess is that the NH Cold Case Unit is still compilying information from citizens and Private Investigators.

She is psychic. Or psycho, I can't tell those apart. The only other option is that she had something to do with the murder. At least we didn't need to hear the stupid "someone knows something". Cmon Shack, hit us with it. Lets hear, "someone knows something". A more stupid, banal comment I can't imagine. Of course with he exception of those who love drama. No one else "knows" that she was murdered. She certainly might be dead, but how would anyone know that she was murdered? And in particular, someone with such a width and breadth of knowledge, intelligence and worldly experience. She will now lay out her case that proves why she knows a murder occurred. I am willing to sit here and read her well reasoned, intelligent, logical dissertation on how she knows that Maura was murdered. We are all waiting, don't disappoint us Shack. Bill

Her appearance was entirely predictable. Her buddy columbo is up against the ropes. He is being asked to produce anything that will back up the crap he is tossing around. An expert at diversion, she pops in with her little tidbit. Obfuscate, divert, deflect. That is the methods of weak minds. Of people who can't justify what they say. If they could, they would produce proof. They think that everyone around they are a weak minded as themselves so they will believe what they say. Insist on hearing their proof. Show them you are not weak minded. You require evidence to substantiate their offers of what they claim to know. By the way, they "know" nothing. If they did they would explain it. Bill

She even surprised some of her best buddies with that little piece of information. Now she knows Maura was murdered. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I am certain she is just going to dazzle us with her intellect and make us eat our words any second now by slapping some serious knowledge on us. Of course, her and the hundreds will need to do this through all those tears. Their contribution isn't complete unless they can tell you how much pain they are in. I don't know how her and they have survived. Bill

Who were they and why were these additional witnesses never reported by media? There seems to have been a lot of activity going on at the accident scene in the few minutes before Maura disappeared. If the accident happened "just before 7", why did it take half an hour before it was reported at 7.27? hannah b, I do hope the discrepancies in the timeline eventually are answered because they were searching for young female slid off the road about 7 that night.

My apololgies in advance for bringing up the stuffed rag topic again.....but, sitting here reading this before work----I've read recently that the rag was clean---HOW can a rag be clean if its in an exhaust pipe? Even if the vehicle was never started, the only way that rag would be clean was if it was a brand spanking new tailpipe never exposed to exhaust.

The PIs were volunters many were retired LE with back grounds to do with the law. They offered there services for free with no profits to them. They were helping in the investigation to find out where and what happened to Maura. So it sounds like you were personally involved with the family discussions and meetings with the PI's from the beginning. Was the information about the credit card fraud shared with them at the beginning? Was information from anything else that was going on at Amherst shared with them as well? Did Fred provide details of his late night/early morning discussions with maura immediately following the accident (the hotel room after the party)?
