I really don't see why people are hung up on the "black eye" thing. To me, it seems like a combination of what Bill is talking about and maybe a shadow from where there is a little indention on her face. Look at these pictures of her face - http://www.ncmissingpersons.org/wp-content/up... - especially in the lower-left, you can see a shadow in the same area, but the picture isn't terrible quality and it isn't in black and white so the spot isn't as prominent. But in half of the photos it looks like she might have a black eye.

Amy, It is entirely possible that Maura's friends have been approached once exposing themselves by telling their stories after giving their real names. All negative. I do not know if she had a boyfriend or not. I suspect if there is any validity to that rumor, LE knew it. I am sure with Mason's lack of response, that Fred's alibi was solid as I suspected. I am also sure you do not have an agenda. I believe LE remains informed of Maura's past. You will find that this is a tough place to be on this thread. Anything I have stated here raises attacks here but its come to my own home..be careful andsafe.

But in half of the photos it looks like she might have a black eye. actually, none of the images i've seen of her, regardless of the lighting pattern, are similar to the one in question that appears to show bruising. if she was caught off-guard by authorities she may not have covered facial bruising. an accident? an abusive relationship? a fall?

Just like the Bradley Hill Road thing, you will not find that I said that anywhere else in all these years. I have always said the chatter from the scanner was about 7. I only said I was not the originator of the 7 pm second accident although it's a plausible theory. I do not know who was looking for her, if I did, we'd be done wouldn't we? In fact what I state may be unsubstantiated but nonethe less they are facts.
