How come we aren't asking why a girl packed up her dorm, and left school in a wreck. What was the driving force that made her leave? it's an obvious question, right? i mean, it's THE question.

I thought that NH didnt allow them in the case? So, why would they knock on a door?

looks like the tag team is revving up for another round of blame LE this morning. gaps in dispatch. conspiracies from 30 years ago, etc., and another obscure "clue" from WW's post. hang on tight! round and round and round we go.

I believe the real times to be concerned with are from 6:45 til 7:46 PM on Feb. 9th 2004. I believe this is when the suspicious disappearance of Maura started to play out. John

What was the driving force that made her leave? the reflexive response has always been.... she didn't run! she left to clear her head to her beloved Whites! she didn't lie to her professors! she fibbed. she planned to return! and the "proof" is she locked her car doors before taking off after the NH accident (huh? illogical!). oh, she was abducted! murdered! mind-bending stuff. heaps of red herrings. of course she ran....but from what?

Snowy wrote: <quoted text> good point. don't know who first said it was a POS. and if ever JRenner needs something else to do, it's been hard to uncover why she never got her license until she was 21, if, indeed, that is even true. the excuse made for her accidents was always....."oh, she was a new driver." lots of it just doesn't sit right. it's always been difficult to determine truth from fiction. thanks Snowy!! I have heard the hints about the license, but never seen anyone confirm that she had only gotten it when she was 21!! Thank you for being honest!! It could change many things, good or bad, but new driver mistakes? we were all that age, & Id bet as yall say "dollars to doughnuts" that she had driven before!! IMHO Alcohol or maybe some sort of stimulant (in 03-07 there was a popular "energy style" drink that people mixed with wine) I am in the same age group as she would be now, so that I can attest to!

John so, do you think the whole "10 minute window" is just a myth? I am curious about that.. It is hard to just up & disappear in 10 minutes!! I see you dont answer me much, but this is an honest question & Ive never been smart towards you sir!

Someone, Please? in my previous reply i referenced the quoted "gang"....aka "ducks" a branch of that is the self-proclaimed "Point Boots Brigade".... which i've dubbed the sisterhood (from my experiences here) someone else might be able to elaborate about the original term....ducks. in essence, they are the folks that have bad-mouthed and accused the local NH residents.

John How come as a PI you can rule out UMASS as the start of the suspicious disappearance? I think its weird that the family for years were able to successfully block information concerning her past. Now Renner has brought some of it to light. All new information that has come out is concerning her past hasn't been character building information. How come as a PI or an investigative father would UMASS not want to be searched? Why not look and see if she had possibly made any enemies in her past? I think its so weird that the people that want to search for her and find her are really only doing it in a very limited space. Just my opinion.

correction: it's Pointy Boots Brigade they were, and probably still are, the force behind developing the "serial killer" angle. the concept seems unlikely. jmo. but panties/boxers have been in a knot over many years if you dare refute it. the history matters, and explains the tensions anyone may feel when they drop by and drop into this conversation. a link from 2005 exists that coordinates with Renner's recent post....and is titled "unsolved homicides". background info.

It was a fairly big insurance claim but that wouldn't effect her charges, unless she had gotten caught doing something else. I know everyone has written off the vasi hit and run but it just seems to fit, & it turns out she was actually about a 1 minute drive from there, contrary to what we were told for years. It just seems like such a big coinincidence that he got hit right around the time that she received a phone call that made her so upset she was like catatonic. Does anyone kno if her sister was in town that night? Could it have been her driving? But honestly u can walk to where Maura actually probably parked her car and drive to where he was hit and back in under 5 mins so it's def possible she could've left work and rushed back before anyone noticed. That whole 10 minute walk to her car, 3 miles to downtown is total misinformation & after learning the Area I always found it highly suspicious that anytime this is err brought up people jump all over the person saying how impossible it was bc she was at work. We'll probably never know for sure but it seems like that's the kind of thing that might make her want to flee town for a minute to make sure no ones looking for a black Saturn in mass When you're involved in a moving violation and you damage public or private property, you will also have to pay those damages. The guardrails might not be covered depending on coverage. My coworker hit some guard rails and fencing on the freeway, slippery conditions, and he had to pay out a pretty penny. I don't know if it was the same for Freds insurance, just contributing here.

Lack of communications abilities on the radio frequencies as well as phone lines. What was all the excitement that night.? John Mcsmom already posted that they were on separate frequencies that night. That their system was in need of improvement.
