Do we know for sure Hannah? They have local individuals (poi) They just don't have enough yet to prosecute yet. Looks like the case went to a grand jury and they must have come back with a conclusion of not enough evidence. I doesn't mean things didn't pan out and that was not 2006.
Do we know when the grand jury was?

"He went to the call only to make sure that the accident did not occur in his jurisdiction, which it did not. He then proceeded down 112 - towards my house - and told HPD that he would look on the way. That is when he saw me and stopped. He was actually on his way to another call for a suicidal boy in Pike. He does not fill out a statement because it is not required according to Section 106-B:15. He investigated nothing and saw nothing."

New Hampshire RSA 106-B:15 sets out when a State Police trooper may act within a town or city having at least 3,000 people:

when he or she witnesses a crime
is in pursuit of a law violator or suspected violator
in search of a person wanted for a crime committed outside its limits
in search of a witness of such crime
when traveling through such town or city
when acting as an agent of the director of motor vehicles enforcing rules pertaining to driver licenses, registrations and the inspection of motor vehicles
when requested to act by an official of another law enforcement agency
when ordered by the governor

Columbo , Chief W lives on BH road would he have been driving the suv HPD car that you previously referred to? That was the first time I heard about that vehicle being the first at the scene. Can you elaborate please?
Thank you

Denial? Frustration? Trying to protect her? Hiding something? Your guess is as good as mine.
he's never offered an explanation, so guessing is on the table.
seems logical to trace back to every nuance of time/place and relationships prior to her disappearance; ideally, leaving no stone unturned.
instead, he jumped to dirtbag quickly, and immediately discounted the Amherst history.
the appearance is, i'd say....hiding something.

I am not saying RO is wrong, just trying to get the time thing straight.

The suicide call was not til 9:20 PM so that means that Monaghan was at the scene til the time of that call at 9:20 PM.

What time did Monaghan arrive at the scene.?

Why IF it was not his juris would He remain there that long.?

From Southshore Express:
A local Woodsville resident has come forward claiming to have heard about another accident on a police scanner the same evening that Maura's accident was reported. The woman, who goes by the name "Anne," first recounted the incident on a posting to the Maura Murray website. She spoke to a reporter for this story but did not want her name used.
Around 7 that evening, Anne recalled, she heard reports on the police scanner in her home that a young female driver was off the road and emergency vehicles were to respond. Anne said she heard a second call come in telling the emergency vehicles to turn back, because there was no need for their service; the young female driver was said to have left the area of Swiftwater Road in a private vehicle. Swiftwater Road is about two miles from Maura's accident scene. There is also Swiftwater Circle a half-mile from the accident scene. To further confuse the matter there is a small area near Woodsville that locals often call Swiftwater.
"The only reason we paid attention to the call was that we had a friend who was from Florida and was spending her first winter up here and living alone...and that was the route she drove home on," Anne explained.
There was no mention of a second accident in the Grafton County Sheriff's log that day. In fact, no activity was reported between 6:08 p.m. and 7:27 p.m.
Speculation has focused on a possible link between the two accidents, though there is no other evidence available to prove that a second accident occurred or that Maura was in any way involved.
care to link?
seriously, you're providing stale, previously debated information today? it is insulting to the intelligence of some.
her telling has not been verified, and its relevance has been disputed.

I spent some quality time today with some friends and had a very interesting day.
It seems that columbo has not bothered to sit down with LE and ask them about the questions he has. He would rather play a puzzle blame game on an internet forum than do what a good PI would do and get off his arse and go see the people in question and talk to them instead of putting their names on a public forum and trying to make them look guilty.
I also see that once again he refuses to answer my questions on post # 16106. It's not the first time I've asked that question and he wouldn't answer.
That's OK, play your little game. People with a brain are catching on.
I am glad You had fun w/ friends. That is a nice thing.

2 months into this case I was told by NHSP to go away and mind MY own business. My reply to them was this "I have offered My help to the family in trying to find their relative and they said, Yes."

After I stated this they again told Me to go away or I would be arrested for interfering with an investigation.

ALL questions to LE have been ignored to this day, the only info I am privy to is what has been released. I did interview FD and EMS as well as The westma's , Butch Atwood and a few others in the area whom were all very cooperative.

"Mums" the word as far as LE is concerned all the way from the beginning..!!

And YES many LE officers have left the force since Maura's case..!!

I am still here to this day....

Chief William's did NOT live on BHR at the time of MM accident.

His residence then was on Country Land rd.. Another cop also lived on the same rd. as William's.

I believe Officer Charles lived on BHR at the time though.

unnecessary; thank you, no.
head shaking, left to right. sorry to say, Anne's window of opportunity to provide a consistent and accurate telling of her story has passed, at least in the minds of some. not incidentally, she is misrepresenting herself to be "A local Woodsville resident...".

collaborating with DC and fixating on tidbits of a timeline is your right to pursue; his unmet responsibility to present as a professional lends little to no credibility to his claim to knowledge.

it is often a challenge to find accuracy in documentation, whether in law enforcement, healthcare or in any context where subjective judgment is involved.

Anne is not a local Woodsville resident. I believe she lives in VT several towns away If I'm wrong I'm sure she'll jump in and correct me.
Why are you bringing all this old crap up? Just wondering. This just verifies everything I've said about this supposed call.

He bought that house and moved to BHR only a couple of years ago.

How funny! You are now denying it but it was you not long ago that stated they both lived on BHR at the time. As I said then...WRONG!
