Here is a good litmus test for all the wannabe detectives. If you can't see what people's agendas are on this little forum, when they are so painfully obvious and transparent, well then do you really think you are perceptive/intelligent enough to figure out what happened to Maura?

the sbd got the worst of it and clearly his reputation wasn't damaged very bad. All I hear about him is how respected he was in the community and how he was trusted w children, etc.
So how exactly was his reputation damaged? I'm talking legitimate damage to his reputation? Like did he lose his job? Were the other locals mean to him or say shit to him? Would nobody talk to him anymore? I'm talking something real, not just a few people talking shit about him on the Internet that maybe a few thousand people total have ever read. These people r acting like because of what was said online he was shunned by the community.
Anything that's been said about him has been brought on by him, plain and simple. His story changed at least 3 times with major details changing each time, that's fucked up. In addition to that the westmans reported that the sbd did strange things that night. Generally he would park along the road where he would have a clear view of the accident scene, but he didn't on that night. That night he mysteriously backed his bus into the driveway way down behin trees where he could not see the scene at all. According to the westmans he never did that before and never did that again. So why that night? These are legitimate questions that should be asked.
The westman's story has never changed in the slightest bit, ever notice that nobody ever said anything bad about them? Nobody has ever said anything about them that would suggest anything.
So its not like people are out just to blaim the locals, only those couple 2-3 locals who's story blaitantly changed in weird ways that would make anyone get looked at.
I'm sorry but your dealing with a missing possibly murdered girl, anyone who's story keeps changing should be looked at hard. If someone changes their story to LE they obviously take a harder look at them right?
Often times, in many cases, LE actually releases this info to the media, the real media(tv, papers, etc)
So I ask again how does a few people having a conversation on some message board really effect these people? In reality very little.
Its not like these conversations are played every day on wmur or something.
I questions anyone's motives who r crying about the locals over an over again. I totally can see that some people want to make sure it doesn't get too crazy but I seems there are certain people who want any an all discussion about the locals to be shut down immediately, why?
It's obvious no one is doing any real damage to these people, come on this is the Internet.

What did He see that night that scared him so much that he didn't even want to see what was goin on?

I think the sbd knew what happened to Maura. I think that he was too scared to say it. If he saw someone abduct her I could see him
Being too scared. Think about it, he saw a murderer doing his work and said murderer knows exactly where he and his family lives. I could see that being nerve wracking an that's a pretty damn good reason to lie to LE.

The sbd saw something that night.
He lied to media repeatedly about major details and his story kept changing.
He got exactly what he deserved.
He didnt deserve to be publicly accused of wrongdoing In the media but he certainly deserved to have people questioning his actions and statements.
It seems to me that a few people questioning this shit on Internet forums was probably just about right.
How hard is it to keep your story straight for the most part unless your completely lying about something.
Nobody should feel bad about questioning locals who's story has changed multiple times and has been shown to be doing strange things on that night.

The wmans story never changed, not once. Notice nobody has ever accused them or questioned anything about them. How hard is it to keep your story straight if your telling the truth?

If he really thought she got abducted shouldn't he want that car??
I would want to send it out to a private forensics lab if LE didn't want to.
If he's trying to conduct his own investigation why wouldn't he get it forensically examine to see exactly who had been in that car recently.

More and more these little facts keep lining up and seem to be saying to me that freds whole thing is quite possibly an act.

Nobody within Maura's family or friends has ever been cruel, rude or mean to me. We keep in touch.

One versions she is out of the car when he gets on scene and in another she's in the car.
One version he even tried to say that he couldn't see her well because she was behind her airbags, which is obviously impossible bc airbags don't stay inflated.

His statements to the media and family were inconsistent to say the least, that can not be denied by anybody.

Have you ever weighed out the odds of someone to go missing or to be abducted from a broken down car?

Add to the fact the amount of drama that was going on in her life, that would possibly give her a reason to disappear.

How many vicitms of serial killers are caught for cc fraud a couple days before their disappearance? Or how many people are killed by local LE a couple days before they are rumored to have been involved in a hit and run. How many troubled poeple who get kicked out of college just go randomly missing with unknown circumstances.
