I would think that SBD, a former LE admin. employee in MA and most likely trained in First Aid would have recognized those symptoms and come back with a blanket or a mug of hot tea/soup if that was the case. Or... administered or offered a thermal blanket from a First Aid kit at the scene.

If Westmans saw Maura's "trouble lights" when they looked out their window, I think this would have been BEFORE any damage to the drivers side front end of Maura's car. The headlight damage looks to be too extensive and rotated for the "flashers" to work on that side. So, from the Westmans view if they saw Maura's "trouble lights" on (after the damage), it would have looked like the passenger side turn signal or "blinker" was on, and not the trouble lights.

Thank you l4m I hadn't heard that before. If it was indeed the case then she was cold for quite some time. Any idea where that might have originated from?

John Just wondering if Lavoie needed the car open to do something to the wheel in order to tow it? I don't know anything about towing a car with a locked steering wheel.

I think if you put on your 4-way flashers and only 3 are functional it might appear, from the window of a house through the thicket, that the trouble lights are all on and doing their job. Depends on how high the snowbanks were, I guess. Unless you have reason to believe the damage to the Saturn occurred after the crash...?

He used a ramp/roll-off style truck. You can pull the vehicle on frontwards or backwards with the winch cable and it is secured with large hooks and the winch tension. You do not need access to the inside of the vehicle although it is much easier when the wheels are straight. John

Mr. Renners blog says "This is the face of a woman who has gone through some kind of hell." What kind of hell? Did she ever go to rehab? Was she arrested for stealing credit cards at both schools or just one? Does anyone think she was on pain pills because of her running injury? Waht was the hole in her soul? Anyone know?
