Columbo, any Idea how many ambulances they had? seems odd that Ems would leave so early. What if the located Maura and she had head trauma?Is this a common practice? The windshield was cracked.

Woodsville has 2 EMS vehicles 60 A1 and 60 A2. It is odd to send EMS away that quickly. Just because there was no victim at the scene does not mean that one would not be found that needed care by EMS.

6 minutes is a very short time. Why.?

If whoever arrived before the ems already had determined there was no one at the scene... it is a small town. They would have sent one away asap.

Unless something else called them away then why not just stay at the scene. Why go back? why not give the search time to play out. JMO

Anyone know if EMS is on call and the EMT's come from there homes when asked to respond or are they waiting back at the firehouse? In Woodstock they are called in.

Small population but a good size area to cover.if CS found maura it would take them another 13 min to get back to the scene. I see no urgency to head back.JMO

When I mentioned Jkm I was trying to make a point about lack of oversight an how it's next to impossible to get anything solid on corruption within a police department.
As far as I can tell Jkm is a fine cop who's did nothing wrong that night.
It would b awesome if in cases like this LE would release some internal files so people could c, oh, he was at the hotel checking id's or something.

& for the record I've never said anything to try to elicit responses from other posters, that's just ridiculous.
I said that shit bc I felt it needed to b said. All. This debating meaningless points, like they should've looked east. Yes, obviously they should've sent one of the 3 cars that went west east but they didnt. Debating whether or not they should have is completely pointless at this point.

I never said that I thought McKay did it, I asked if there was any good reason to eliminate him as he certainly had the means to accomplish what may have happened that night. If u read the bottom of my post I clearly state that I don't necessarily think this is what happened, that I'm running possible angles.
Isn't that what these forums r about; making theories as to what happened? Someone puts forth a theory, & if it's wrong people should say why it's so wrong. In fact, if it's so crazy then it should b pretty easy to disprove right?
If it's so crazy, so ludacris to even suggest Floyd & McKay it should b super east to tell me why it's so crazy. If anything I was hoping for maybe one intelligent response. Maybe one that had some info like McKay was in Franconia doing something.
Just saying something is crazy or ridiculous means nothing if u don't have one fact to back up why it's so crazy, or to resort to attacking the messenger is probably even worse. These r both arguments of the feeble minded.

It's Funny bc it's been years of people suggesting Floyd & McKay and people saying Its crazy but never once have I seen someone offer up one fact that shows they should be eliminated. You would think that after years of those someone would've looked into it and proves he wasn't there if it was possible. Especially consideingtje guys dead, his records r prob easier to locate then a living cop.

Jenkins, you mention angles etc.. lets not think that he search to just go west is not an angle. Was there information that caused the search to only go west? That is just a viable of angle as your angles and it is not ridiculous.

Great question backspace- Columbo might know the answer on that.The logs only show CS as the officer on the scene but that is not hasty.

Jesus, why don't you know this if you were a cop. CS is probably a first responder in that town. Many towns work that way. He would evaluate and based upon mechanism, he might request fire/ems. Slow speed crashes where people slide off the road doesn't automatically get fire and ems. If someone is healthy enough to bolt from the scene, how bad can their injuries be? Sometimes the alcohol and adrenalin helps deaden the pain but if the injuries are severe enough they usually are flopping around close enough to the car to be seen or heard.

I do not remember the name not do I ever remember that it was said it was searched.

Shack will at times throw the question out there. That is why I have at time asked. It was also mentioned on the old MM boards. No answers.
