Your sources and info are incorrect. You don't know me; and I don't care to know you. Further, i am none of your business.
In fact, you don't know MM, either.
And it is all about MM, right?

Officer Smith should have known the tentative identity of the driver once 911 has advised Him after SBD call or once He was at the scene and talked to SBD.

The car might have been registered to fred Murray but they knew that night that a female was behind the wheel.

Why did Smith say even the next day He thought it might have been Fred.?

Is it possible Smith was sleep deprived from being overworked.?

How could smith be that confused just one day later.?

The 1st BOl should have gone out to all surrounding towns, all it takes is a radio dispatch call and people are on the lookout.

Did Mckay hear the call and head that way anyway, probably not doing anything else./

Why do you ask these questions on a forum where you know that no one can answer? These are questions that only Smith can answer so why not ask him? Instead of trying to put people in a suspicious light why not go right to the source and get answers? Isn't that what a PI does, ask questions and get answers??
And why would a Franconia officer drive 30 minutes and thru 2 or 3 towns to answer a call for a missing driver in Haverhill area? It makes no sense.

Wowzer. He throws these turds out not because he is asking questions, though he at least is now putting a question mark at the end of the sentences. He is trying to plant seeds. He is trying to make it seem like people didn't do certain things, or did do certain things. Its like when a lawyer asks a defendant if he has stopped beating his wife. He knows that there will be an objection, he knows the judge will tell the jury to disregard. But the jury has already heard it, they know are thinking about it. It could be a turd of the highest order, but it accomplishes what he wanted. It planted a seed. Likely it is total bullshit, but he throws the forum into total chaos. Hey John, how about that trailer hitch, huh? That spun the forum into a total goat f**k didn't it?

I'm going to respectfully disagree with you on that one, Bill. What you describe takes great skill, special training and calculation IMHO. I see Columbo as a genuinely good person who has taken this case to heart, and who has been frustrated for 8 years by a lack of answers. I get that way when I try to do algebra in my head; if I tried to work the same problem for 8 years, I would lose my mind. In this instance, there are too many variables to solve the problem. I've seen Columbo post previously that he has tried to ask these questions of the people who should know the answers, and that they refused to talk to him. Refusing to answer is the right of LE or anybody else. But it's gotta be frustrating, not feeling like you can move on with your life until an unsolvable problem is solved. Just my perspective, for what it's worth.

The 911 call from BA stated that it was a female, no PI's but shook up.
Thanks Wowzer, you are correct. Originally I did a timeline of sorts and my recollection is that Officer Smith asked T & F W about the "girl" before driving to BA's. My recall about the time of BA 911 call was incorrect. BA called Hanover approximately at 19.38 who, in turn, called dispatch at 19.43.

According to a PI (I think?) named Weeper, from a post at Advocate's forum:
"To grasp the oddity of this action (as his neighbor did that evening) we need to understand that his girlfriend also drove a full size school bus and they always parked them in front of the house where the State installed a large floodlight (just like a street light on a public street) right on his property at the intersection with Bradley Hill Road. Had he parked his bus in it’s “usual” parking spot he would have had a clear, unobstructed view all the way up to the stranded Saturn, 560 feet (I measured it)."
There was a light on SBDs property close to his house. I dont know who installed this light or how long it had been there but it was not at the corner of BHR. This light was not on 112 either It was on the property of SBD close to his home. Yes there was a light on his property but no it was not at the intersection of BHR nor was it on 112. SBDs property was before BHR.There were always 2 full sized buses parkrd on this property when I rode by.

Persistent in implying the guilt of others....a dishonest and indirect approach to communicating and or seeking. The answers are not here...why torture the reader with hollow repetition? Or so, my perspective, anyway. Things to do.

It was pitch black when I began traveling up there in March of 2004. Except for SBDs yard that had a light close to his house.

And the rain was kind enough to bring two huge doe's to my backyard and 4 younger ones--all at the same time. As may times as I see them travelling through my yard there and around here in RI, I still smile. They don't seem to get as big here in RI though.

Was it not stated by someone on a forum the the SBD had the town install a large light because of the busses parked there?
Backspace4me & Bumping for Maura ... checked back with Citigirl re: buses & lights. BA & his wife both had their own bus. BA told Citigirl which bus belonged to him and which belonged to his wife.
BA came in from the west, backed the bus in the yard to turn it so it was parked parallel to 112 facing west. His wife's was always backed in yard with front of bus facing 112.

In the beginning the only light was in his yard. There were no lights on 112 or BHR ... could've been a year or more later there was a light installed near BHR.

It was a very dark area.

Citigirl does not recall the barnlight being on at all times because she remembers the darkness so very well. She wondered if the barn had a sensor light.

At the beginning

I wonder what the body count is up to here now. I've only been at Topix since February, and I'm guilty as well of speculating on things I shouldn't. But reading past forums and threads, I see there has been much gossip all around. Directed at Mr. Murray, various NH locals, etc. As I've said before, the potential damage is unknown. I try my best now to treat carefully. I don't believe anyone here intends to hurt anybody else, but we never know how our words will affect people.
Are you related to the Murray family, sir? If so, I am sorry for your loss.
Amy ... just thought the article/video was interesting. There was a previous lawsuit against Topix in Texas which was interesting also.

You are correct, we should always be aware of how our words affect others ... in fact, words can be weapons. People's perspective's are interesting, for sure.

You ask if I am related to the Murray family. I've lived in the same area & know some of the family, as well as extended family. Some members are friends. It's with appreciation I read that you are sorry for our loss. It is a long journey. Maura is truly loved unconditionally by many people.

backspace,
IIRC it has been said, correct or not, that a neighbour (Mr M-e) across Rte 112 from the SBD observed the SBD backing his bus into his yard with the front facing Rte 112/BHR.
Apparently Mr M-e thought this manouevre somewhat unusual as the SBD otherwise - or so it´s being claimed anyway - normally parked his school bus in his yard along Rte 112 with the front facing west (towards the WB curve).
This is confusing for sure, but I believe this is what I´ve been reading repeatedly over the last few years following the MM case.
