Didn't Columbo post a while back that the two of you have met in person? Why not ask him directly to see his credentials or make the call yourself to verify him, rather than take the word of an anonymous forum poster? Some of the other PIs on this case who posted on these forums had theories worse than Columbo's. Does everyone here think they are not really a PI also? Or are we just assuming that there is such a high standard to become a PI that all PIs are geniuses who can't have crazy theories?

Oh my God... how many times in a week do we have to hear that Columbo is not a former Cop... a former this.... a PI. GET A LIFE. It has been Proven that he is all of the things he claims to be. Plus he has more class and couth in his little finger than you have in your entire extended family.

The damage on that Saturn was not caused by a tree, that is one thing we can be sure of. A tree is a hard, vertical object. There is damage above the bumper and below the bumper but the bumper was nit damaged in the slightest. The bumper also sticks out the fartheset. That means it's physically impossible for a tree to have caused the damage. The damage would look like a vertical line with the bumper being the most damaged. Not a sharp dent above the bumper. And untouched bumper and then blunt force damage below the bumper that's consistent w a snowbank. Anybody who says a tree caused this either just believes everything cops say automatically, or they're not looking objectively. Looking at the damage I don't c how anyone can argue that

His agenda is transparent to anyone with an IQ above room temp. Yep. He's just wasting time between the trippety-trap of little pig's hooves over his bridge. There can be few things sadder than trolling a forum for a number of years, in the full knowledge that the police, the family and a series of naff 'writers'' dip in and ignore you. Emmett goes away, Jenkins strolls in. Each with their vehement theories and multiple posts. Either way, Columbo backs them up with a ticit nod, a wink and aflimsy statement about something being significant. Say what you like about WTH and Snowy, they're steadfast and difficult to copy and they're not trolling.. Columbo/we all know who is a very ardent troll because he sees himself as some sort of Lori Anderson-esque perforance artiste. He's good but all of his personas come with the attitude, the prepared online verification tools and the reallt affected 'accent' depending on where the new entity is said to live. No one really writes like they speak. It's so contrived. That aside, I'm still waiting for verification that there ws ever a red truck let alone a significant one.

Maura was a CLASS 1 runner. For a time she was thought to be the best runner in Massachusetts during high school. If she headed east on Route 112 she potentially could have easily have made it anywhere from 5-15 miles from the accident by dawn. This would fit exactly with Rick Forcier's sighting and explain why no evidence was found of Maura near the accident. What if the search should have actually been conducted at the 112/116 intersection? Very little (if anything) has been searched this far east of the accident scene even though this is likely where she headed. Due to the number of houses in the area it is clear Maura did not want any help because of the potential DWI. I think another search needs to be done on the east side.

By his support of someone I wholly disrespect, and by his vague, unhelpful posts, I am convinced there is little substance to the claims "Columbo" attempts to make. "Columbo" lauded FmrLE for his work in the Zantop murders , and affirmed FLE's connection to NHSP. That, and the informative content of FLE's posts convince me of his personal knowledge about who is and isn't professionally connected.

I've not read the thread, here, in a week or so - and I truly attempted to read back. However, it was so rife with b*llshit that I simply couldn't. Too irritating.
In regards to Columbo, I still like my idea (of course) regarding the PERC card (or the variation of it for whatever state Columbo is registered in. The PERC card has your full name, your title (Private Investigator) and your ID number. One could, if so inclined, easily block out their last name (we already know his first) and his ID number. I don't know about youse guyse but I would completely and utterly believe that he is, in fact, a PI, if he has that card. Why? Because it's not like there is a black market for Investigator registration cards....and one saying 'John', no less. I can't even imagine the hassle one would have to go through to obtain someone ELSE's PI card...with the proper first name. I don't think Columbo is under ANY obligation to do this. It's Topix, not a forum with verified posters. However....it would surely take the issue off the table, in that even his most vehement detractors couldn't possibly continue to pontificate on his lack of LE prowess...if he provided this type of verification. It should also be noted that he could simply upload this to any free image hosting site like tinyimg....and be done with it. Just a thought.
