as you well know, there is no new information to add to the pile....and the intensity and scrutiny of previous discussions, mostly speculation, have yielded zero. in fact, i'd suggest they were damaging to maura's reputation..which she may not deserve.
why continue to beat a drum, or a horse, under these circumstances?
better to send some of that energy toward national media....you think?
why not nancy grace? i've never understood or accepted the excuse made about law enforcement's lack of cooperation with the show's producers.

Many people do discover Topix Forums such as Maura
Murray and do not know what is new or old.
I don't see the harm in reviewing. I wish that the
NH Newspapers did write more coverage about Maura disappearing. People should have updated information in any area of the news.
ie: Christopher Flynn missing in Haverhill area.
Has anyone read or heard anything new?

I absolutely concur with you.
I´m a journalist myself and have been trying to track down any kind of updates on the Christopher Flynn case for several weeks now, without finding any information or follow-up whatsoever in any of the NH dailies available on the web.
And this is a recent case as well...

Trust me. You are not that smart. Though it is possible that the next "hint" will be a plant. These first two are legitimate. Don't really care who you are. Tourism is NH's number one revenue. Any bad publicity would ruin the tourism business. So keep things quiet and sweep it under the proverbial carpet. Shhhhhhh........mums the word.

Does anyone ever put something useful on here..? Would be nice to have something materialize from this site that would actually bring closure. Someone must know something out there....

Yes, yes. No one say that there was a murder in New Hampshire once upon a time, because everyone knows murders don't happen in NH. We just had a mass shooting with seven dead two towns over from where I live and work as an EMT. You have no idea how scared I am when I am at one of my two houses in NH. I always make sure I have my "safe room" well stocked with ammunition and food. Just in case of a home invasion. And I am always armed whenever I walk off of the property. You never know when a gang of black flies are conspiring to kick my ass and take my ipod.

I guess I was thinking of CT. That's right, I actually relax and enjoy my time in NH. Going up again in a few days for our anniversary. Going to eat at the spectacular Mt. Washington Hotel. Relax at the lake house. I am so looking forward to getting away again. I do actually worry more about the people that practice astrology and believe in psychics. They actually do scare me.

Oh, wait a minute, there was that murder murder in Bartlett a while back. At Moose Tracks in 2006 if I remember correctly. Very sad occurrence, but don't worry they caught the guy. Not surprising, as in most murders, they knew each other. That did cause a tremendous spike in murders in Bartlett though from the previous years. Everyone was astounded at the tremendous rise in the murder rate in the town. It was shocking that all of sudden the rate had doubled. It went from a low of zero and zoomed to one, pushing the local murder rate almost off the charts overnight. It wasn't actually a surprise to the people who live there. Just others with a warped sense of the world. Ones who apparently think you can be kept safe and that bad things can't happen in certain places. Kind of odd. It would be nice if that was true, but after we grow out of childhood most know that isn't the case.

Fear not though. Most of you who are killed, will still be killed by someone you know, likely a family member, not a stranger, not even in NH. Having read some of what is written here, I would suspect strongly that you would have most to fear from people you interact with. At least I can walk away and not read some of what you have written. Your families probably don't have that luxury. ;)

Sorry I don't play letter games. There was Butch's house, a house on each corner of Bradley Hill RD, the small cabin where the car went off the road and then the house across from the Weathered Barn. 5 houses.
And just before the curve within a short walking distance there were more houses that Maura passed.
Does it really make a difference if there were 4 or 5 houses?
Either way she chose not to go to any of them for help.

If someone did know something which I'm not saying they do, do you really think they would blurt it out on a public forum?
If there's any chance of a closure I think it will come from hard work and investigation by LE. Just because we don't hear anything doesn't mean that nothing is being done.
