Hi all, change of subject again, sorry.
Anybody checked out WS Maura thread? A poster claims phone records on ID Disappeared shows Maura called two different lawyers specializing in family disagreements, and she also called a navy recruit in Albany, NY. I checked it out myself, and it could be true. Any thoughts?
I had also run the numbers Hannah and got the same thing by using the last 4 digiits given on the show and then inserting the first three (local exchange numbers) the only problem is that there can be multiple exchange numbers in a town so it is hard to be 100% acurate she called that particular number.

I don't think the Marottes could have seen Maura if it came to rest at the Blue Ribbon. This is just my observation from the last time I went by that area I was looking at that and other things.

One of the numbers also came up with an auto repair place in Belchertown and that is about 10 miles or so from amherst another number came back as an apartment complex in Albany NY. Again can't be 00% without knowing the exact first three digits.

Ok well the entire length of 112 was not wilderness searched, they searched that with the helicopter. Scarinza specifically describes flying all the way to n Woodstock.
Flir sees changes in temperature, not light. Footprints are warmer because they are melting faster and they stick out from the snow being a different color.
Most of the trees don't have leaves in the winter so you can see the ground from above.
Also if she walked into the woods there would be a Long trail I footprints leadin into the woods. The tree cover is not so thick that you can't see the ground.
Obviously it's not 100%, hence no one saying 100% she didn't enter the woods.
It's just not as likely as her getting a ride.
We for no footprints leading into the woods.
The blood hound losing her trail
Wilderness searched close to the accident turned up absolutely no evidence.
This is why they can say they're reasonably confident Shes not in the woods near the crash site.
There was no search in Woodstock. Woodstock PD was unaware that a young female had even gone missing from Haverhill on the night of Feb.9,2004. No one ever notified them.

The neighbors saw the saturn back up paralell to the road, so that might be why the car moved from where it once was. If MM had slid off the road once already, she may have felt she could drive off again. When the SBD came along, that might ruin any chances of someone helping her to get going again. They wouldn't take a chance at being seen, or caught doing something they shouldn't be doing. Let's say they were drinking and wanted no part of any police action. MM walks in fast mode and gets in the car, off they go. Case closed. They say MM may have been expecting, would she continue to drink anyway? MM is said to have a great sense of humor. She said there was a death in the family. It wasn't supposed to be hers, maybe an early termination of any pregnancy. But in the end, MM could be raising this child and staying at home, or working for a place that's not prone to follow up on a persons background. It was some time in 2005 that I had to make copies of everyones drivers licence and social security card.
But NOT for any of us that have been there over 20 years. That's when employee new hire came into effect, so faking a social was still possible for one of my workers. I don't know about Canada, maybe it's still as lax as our place used to be.
One neighbor within eye sight of the scene had stated they saw a vehicle back up paralaell to the road.

If she was able to back up then that would mean that her car was running and operating. I can see just pulling to the side to get my bearrings straight but then I would drive off. Her car looked very driveable.

I am just wondering is it down the block, or a half a mile, or approximately how far? I had been told a few yards away from the three large trees was a small patch of seven smaller trees and that is where the car actually crashed (or ended up). Maybe that info was wrong, so I am just trying to figure out where the car was.
I honestly cannot give a measurement. But it was within eye sight of the M home which also puts it closer to SBDs house from what I and others have been told by Mr M and with what the Ws said to several other family members.

There were pics posted on helenas old forum that showed a car parked in the spot where they were told it came to a halt and I will estimate 60-75 yards east of the Blue ribbon. I believe this is the picture

According to one of the responders she could have driven off after the accident.

Now base on that location the accident just doesn't jive. Her car is way to far up from the curve to have happened as an over steer/gas deal.

If the tires lost traction coming around the curve wouldn't that cause a sudden acceleration? This would explain the noise they heard.

Your absolutely right...It makes no sense...Unless somehow she thought it was safer a bit further up.Maybe she thought it would be better there overnight, realizing she was no longer in any condition to drive.
