Honestly the whole part about her communicatfing with his son just didn't make sense to me either. Even if he was 19 how the hell did he meet Maura in amherst? Haverhill is not very close to Goshen either. EVERYONE on this planet is a suspect...no one has been singled out...No one has been said to be guilty...but,IMHO someone is not innocent...these are all names related to the case or people that have been in the news for less than heroic actions...

Anyone ever hear what the owner of the Franconia general store had to say about him when he was in there the following day after the Kiki kenney incident? He was pissed because she had sold out of all the newspapers with his story in it, the one where they call him a "hero".
Well after se said they sold out he said "I'm the one who killed that kid"
She said that he spoke about it as if he had killed a rabbit or something, she was definitely freaked out about his comment.
Does anyone have any sort of reason that Floyd &/or McKay should be eliminated?
These guys were scary individuals, both of them sexist fucks & dangerous people, it seems like this would be right up their alley.
I'm just wondering if there's a legitimate reason to eliminate them besides he was a cop or a cops best friend.
They basically drove around the north country listening to their scanner and harassing people. Floyd would have heard the whole thing on his scanner. He would have known there was a girl who was missing and possibly heading his way.

Almost everyone interviewed about this guy has him making reference to killing people, almost every iterview he's done, including one with the SP has him referencing killing people, its scary.
He truly sounded happy about getting the opputunity to kill Kenney and get away with it. Some of the things he says to the cop interviewing him are deeply disturbing and would only be said by a deeply disturbed individual.
He also likes to claim to be a vietnam vet who has killed up to 42 people, depending on who he's telling the story to. Only problem with that story is he was 49 in 2007, that means he would have been 17 in '75 when the vietnam war ended.
He even told the cop in his interview that he was a vietnam vet who killed a lot of people in the war and saw a lot of really bad things. So weird for someone to get that into a made up story like that.
He's clearly not a vietnam vet, in the concord moniter article they call him "ex militay personell", if he was a vet they would address him as such in the paper.
Kenney's passenger Caleb Macaulay describes the event as terrifying, Floyd said he was perfectly fine and that he had "killed dozens of people before"
At the time of the incident Macauley was scared FLoyd was going to kill him and it appears Floyd wanted to. Mac describes him and being totally "crazed" and screaming at him, He was screaming at him to pick up the gun but Mac said that he wanted him to pick up the gun so that He'd have an excuse to kill mac. FLoyd was screaming and screaming and told him if he didn't stop crying he was going to kill him. Afterwords He told Macaulay that this was the 20th person he'd killed.

Theres Many many more quotes that I can dig up where this guy is bragging about killing. He really sure did seem to enjoy it that day in Franconia. I don't agree with what he did at all but thats not the point, if someone truly needs to use deadly force to protect the public and themselves then i believe they are in every right to do so, but who enjoys doing that? Most people are disturbed after killing someone, even someone they were in a conflict with. If he was just a passerby and killed someone he didn't know shouldn't he at least express a tiny amount of remourse? Instead he'ssaying he's fine and talking about how many people he's killed?? Thats scary.

This guy would clearly fit the profile of someone who is likely to kill people. He fits the profile of someone who would be a serial killer. He actually fits the profile of the Ct river serial killer pretty perfectly. DOes anyone know if he's always lived in Franconia? How long has he lived up NH?

A local contractor reported seeing Maura on the night of her accident around 8 about 4 to 5 miles from the scene of her abandoned car. Forcier lived on Wild Ammonoosuc Road about 100 yards from where Maura's car was found.
On April 29, contractor was interviewed by State Police Lt. John Scarinza who checked out Forcier's time records at his job in Franconia and confirmed that his story was credible.

That same day Fred held a press conference at the Woodsville American Legion Hall with the parents of Brianna Maitland, a 17 year-old girl who was last seen after leaving her waitress job in Montgomery, Vermont, about six weeks after Maura went missing. Montgomery is located about 90 miles north of Woodsville. Maitland's car was found abandoned about a mile from where she worked. At the same press conference were the parents of Aime Riley who was last seen leaving a bar in Manchester, N.H. in August of 2003. Her body was found in April of 2004 in a pond in Manchester, N.H. about 120 miles south of Woodsville.
The press conference was another attempt by Fred to push for FBI help. He and the other families believed the three cases could be connected and since the Maitland and Murray cases crossed state lines, the FBI should be involved, they reasoned.
"Why wouldn't [state police] want the best help in the world?" Fred asked in a later interview. The FBI had been involved on a limited basis shortly after Maura disappeared, but its role was restricted to interviewing Maura's family and friends in Massachusetts. The Bureau would later take a more aggressive role in the Maitland disappearance but it has not been publicly involved in Maura's case.
Exactly one month later, on June 8, 2005, Vermont and New Hampshire State Police issued a joint press release stating there was no connection between the Maura Murray and Brianna Maitland cases. "Investigators believe that Maura was headed for an unknown destination and may have accepted a ride in order to continue to that location," said Lt. Scarinza in the release, adding there were "no signs of any struggle, or any other evidence, which would indicate that a crime had been committed."
Two weeks later, a N.H. State Police Trooper turned up on the doorstep of Maura's sister Kathleen's home in Hanover, Mass. The trooper requested that all items found in Maura's car be returned. Maura's belongings had been given to the Murray family within two weeks of the accident.
Police also confiscated the hard drive of Maura's computer, which had been in her dorm room and took custody of Maura's car, which had been sitting unlocked at a North Haverhill, N.H. garage since the accident. Police explained that a major crimes unit of the State Police was stepping into the case and wanted to conduct forensic tests of Maura's car and personal belongings.

When exactly did I, or anybody else for that matter, say that I was going to solve this case personally? WHat are you talking about? I dont get it, im not a cop or a PI, im a person discussing this case on an online forum. I think some people have delusions about how important topix is here. Its these same people that have some sort of weird idea that the people discussing the case think they are PI's and that they think they are really going to solve the case.
Read the posts, everyone wans LE to solve the case. They have the info and the resources to accomplish the task, we do not. The best we can do is discuss the case and try to keep it somewhat in the public's eye, even if it is just on topix. These forums have done a service in respect that if these didn't exist Maura's case would have faded from the news years ago.
Barring her body being found first really the only thing that might break the stalemate of this case is a new witness coming forward. Most people in Nh have no idea maura is missing. There are at least several vehicles that passed by the accident scene that we've never heard from as witnesses. Anyo of them might have seen what car she gor into. The chances are that they have no idea she went missing so they have no idea they are witnesses to anything.

I don't think police are neccesarily so stupid that they don't check these things out, thats exactly what i was talking about in my post when I was asking if anyone acutally knows whether they looked into these guys or not. So no, I don't think they're that stupid, I like to think they've checked these things out. I think that LE has a suspect and a very good idea of what happened to her thay just haven't been able to locate her body and the evidene needed to get a conviction in court.

OK so I've asked if Floyd could potentially be involved, but I said that I don't think his son would have anything to do with it. I specifically said that, I said that McKay was his partner in crime and I never heard anything about his son.

I've absolutely never named the m's by the weathered barn, what the hell are you talking about? WHen did I ever name them? I talked about the red truck, not their red truck. Citigirl brought up the red truck that was parked in her yard, im still not exactly sure why but it certainly wasn't to blaim them for anything. They are clearyl innocent witnesses and I've never heard anyone say anything even close to accusing them so what the hell are you talking about?
As for Fred I didn't make him look suspicous, his action and statements did.

Just a side note/reminder--the computer had been in Maura's dorm room, yes. But Katherleen (not Kathleen according to MR Renner), was also given the computer and she kept it untouched in her closet until they came back for it.
The UMASS or MA police had already only made a COPY of the hard drive, so it was still accessable information. They all say they didn't try to access Maura's PC, that it just sat.
I find this odd, that Fred would not have tried to see it while the chance was there.

ok no, fortunately I don't personally know these men, thank god.
BUt I do know a girl who was harrassed by both of them.
She got pulled over for some bullshit reason that McKay came up with and fully harrassed. He did a full search on her and who came rolling up to the scene as backup? Who else but Floyd. It got so out of hand that a family who was from NY stopped to witness the altercation and she believes that if that family didn't stop that she would have gotten sexually assaulted or possibly even worse. When the Franconia shooting happened she was like "thats the guys that harrassed me", let me tell you, she thought it was great justice that he got killed. Thats what led to my "he got what he deserved" comment about a month back.

It was a known fact and common knowledge around the north country that those guys were friends and drove around looking for trouble. They were both seriously sexist fucks that had no problem harrassing little girls. Thats the worst part of their game, the guys were cowards, harrassing little girls and hosing people down with mace at the drop of a hat.

Floyd definetly fits the profile of someone who might commit a crime like this. He clearly is obsessed with killing other people, whether he's killed people other than liko is clearly not certain but someone definetly needs to look at this guy very closely, if not just for maura but for other cases as well. He very well could be responsible for different murders not even Maura's. I would not be surprised if a couple of the cases the nh ccu is working on were the result of Floyd. According to all accounts he was proud of what he did and seemed pretty happy to tell people that he killed liko. The store owner was freaked out when he said "im the one who killed that kid" as calmly as saying he had just killed a rabit. as I explained above it is a known fact these assholes harrassed people, its also common knowledge that FLoyd used to drive around listening to his scanner and was McKay's unnoffical backup.
I know they harrassed people for a fact because they were harrassed by a personal friend of mine and she was really shooken up by it. She was actually shooken up for a long time, she was truly in fear for her personal saftey she really thought they were going to rape her and you could see the fear in her eyes when she talked about it. So you can maybe see why these assholes get me a little riled up.

what damage have people discussing this case ever caused to anyone? I've asked this probbaly a hundred times and no one has ever presented even a shred of evidence that anyone's lif has actually been damaged in the slightest, not even close. With all this talk of damage you would think it'd be pretty damn easy to show, so how come everyone always avoids that question?
