SnowyB wrote: <quoted text> I was once sympathetic to the plight of the family of LIko Kenney, and presumed he was tormented and maced by a rogue cop before being killed by a passerby, Gregory Floyd. The circumstances were quite a source of public interest, and became a gripping, national news story. The community was divided, and questions of ethics and professionalism were hotly debated as to which of the three men held the greatest responsibility for the deaths...which actually played out as street violence in sleepy NH. The Floyd trial was an extension of that on-going saga that also played out in the public view, and was followed and attended by interested parties. Simultaneously, the MM conversation moved...I suppose, from Websleuths to Franconia Topix on a neighboring thread. Some posters crossed over between threads, as is the case today between the Patric and MM threads and back. I was especially appalled at the dynamics played out specific to the history of MM's disappearance and the blaming of NH residents. The history of damage to individuals has been detailed more than once, and that opinion is shared by some, and not by others. Importantly, I have been able to develop a strong sense of an overview and written expression through these forums. With each occurrence of lost, missing, murdered, etc., there are boundaries tested in media reporting. While Nancy Grace was once an interesting lawyer/reporter, she has, IMO become a sensational media whore. I believe it is by her role model that ordinary citizens claim the right to "investigate" in the manner that happens across these threads....to include Websleuths and similar formats. My background is in the social sciences, and I am intrigued by the interplay of relationships. With what has taken place here, I'd suggest there has been a need to test and define moral and ethical boundaries. That is my interest....not an agenda. Again, I came to the Kenney/McKay/Floyd tragedy with one set of ideas about presumed "blame"....and left with a different understanding. I took some time to personally sort out feelings, opinions and conclusions in conjunction with other good people, some of whom are now friends. In the end, three human beings suffered as a result of a personal feud between two of them, but only one first pulled the trigger to cause the death of a law enforcement officer. That is now crystal clear. Fortunately, we are not encumbered with having to make decisions about blame....our legal system, and a greater power than all of us makes those determinations. The law, justice, forgiveness, humanity, morality and ethics sometimes don't immediately intersect, but clash. I am unrelated to any law enforcement officer, for your information, and my interest is purely cerebral; and at one time, heartfelt. I really appreciate your response and I think that this might be a good point to start to go in another direction (positive) with this thread . I don't have that history of being on older MM threads or even other forums. I really just want to engage with others about Mauras case . I understand that the conversation has gone round and round over a number of years but it is what it is. Unfortunately for the sake of conversation, there hasn't been any new information in some time so re hashing takes place as well as the search for new angles to explore. It is just talk and that is what a forum is designed to be. A place to form ideas and discuss the topic. You might not agree with Jenkins, but he has every right to express his ideas and thoughts without being badgered with insults. It creates the atmosphere of all hands on deck and nobody wins. At least Jenkins tries to discuss MM. i just skip over the stuff that is either to long or i am not interested in.

Cont: I called for a truce a while back and a new moniker immediately came out and started provoking me as if a truce was not wanted. WTH calls this entertainment and without the bickering there is no entertainment.I find that viewing this forum as a form of entertainment is what is wrong with this thread. Anyway, thanks for your reply to my question. What took place on previous threads or forums is in the past and that can not be changed. Hopefully a healthier conversation can take place forward.

Was it "Brokeback Boys", or "Midget Lust"? lol If you actually were a cop (which I don't buy for a minute), then you must've been the type who give cops a bad name... Probably a slack-jawed meat head with a tiny wee-wee and a terrible inferiority complex. So why don't you eat me, OK?

An astute former poster has contemplated whether MM may, indeed, be alive, as evidenced by that photo....and if, indeed, it is authentic. If so....perhaps he has moved on to another endeavor/project? After all, people have the right to privacy and to move away and live elsewhere, if that's the case. Your thoughts? I realize the FB lookalike has been discounted, but I hadn't seen it and would like to -- could you (or someone) please post a link? If it won't post on Topix thread, please do Message me with it. Thanks in advance!

We agree; I sense you can appreciate my frustrations for the long history and repetition, and I understand you are sincere about finding clues and discussing ideas about her disappearance. It has been difficult for some of us to be patient with Jenkins' thought processes, along with numerous and lengthy posts....especially when most everything has been endlessly reviewed,. We also agree that there has been no new news....and, hence, the painful hashing/rehashing. I am amenable to a new understanding between us, and appreciate your extending that offer. I am glad you took the time to read and understand my point of view, and how I came to this forum. I am happy to check in now and then, as I do care about certain individuals here....and not to have to worry about the threat of my personal information being compromised. Having a new understanding will relieve me of that burden, and release you and others from those kind of unproductive exchanges. I assume we can go forward more easily from this point on.

I only took a quick glance at it, but when I went back to find it on Amherst Topix (I believe I might have seen it there), it was gone. Perhaps I saw it on Renner's blog. I'd like to see it again, as well....perhaps someone can assist us.

I believe the truce you mentioned still hadn't addressed the issues about the thinking that some of us were conspiring together, being paid to post, and all such far-out-there ideas. If Jenkins is Jenkins, and JWB is JWB, and Snowy is Snowy...you can be sure WTH/Bill is also himself. He brings fact-checking to the table, he has a long history here, and has identified areas where he has little patience. Additionally, after he has done everything he possibly can to inform and/or correct "thinking" processes...he throws up his hands and calls it 'entertainment'. I once argued that point with him, but conceded he is correct. Now, mind you it is important you understand he is not using that word in the context of laughing at, making fun of, or disrespecting Maura. I trust it is a high level of frustration, which I can certainly appreciate. Again, I appreciate your listening and hearing....and I hope, understanding that we are individuals....each here for different, but likely similar, reasons. When there is disagreement, and especially vigorous disagreement, it doesn't mean there was or is an "agenda". And I welcome your specific questions, if ever I am able to help or clarify. I am, just like you, another poster.

We are not all going to agree on things and that is the way life is but it does no good to start throwing a tantrum or to abuse someone and not let your foot off their throat. The multiple monikers to add to the entertainment etc..

Hi all.forgot to mention Beagle posted this info a while back so thankyou Beagle.Still wondering how and when sgtSmith knew about the rag in the tailpipe and WHY MrLavoie found it 'way down in the tailpipe'.Why was he even bothering with the saturn. It was not worth a mechanics time yo even fix.Assuming Billy and MrMurray were able to start the car when they arrived in N.H. the rag was still in the tailipipe and still able to be started. It sounds like MrLavoie's garage found it later and again why was it worked on.MrAtwood was reported as saying the radiator was damaged so I assume the fan and belt was damaged so starting it was beyond dumb. The saturn recorded how many times it was started after the airbags were deployed.Mauras prior life was a mess and I would not like some of her family or distant relatives to live on my block.

The rag was not found by Lavoies it was found by CS and other responders that saw the rag in the tail pipe at the accident scene as I have stated in the past. The vehicle was only stored at Lavoies until it was impounded by SP at a later date.

Citigirl was the vehicle registered to "just" Fred or was Maura on the registration too? Also I read on one of the old forums that at the time of the crash at the WB curve the gas tank was "practically" full. Is it possible that the "last Known" location, as discussed at the hearing, was when she last purchased gas? If she paid cash wouldn't a security camera provide a positve ID if/when compared to the ATM photo.

Did he make up the kit for Maura or was it a pre bought kit? Also we talked about the flashlight thing. Does fred know if anything else was missing from the kit like a flashlight? you said you would look into that. Thanks
