Thats the main question right now. Did anyone make eye contact with Maura and talk with her before she left? I don't think anyone did.

If this is the case it will start making some serious sense to me why the ATM picture was never shown, why she left college, and why she ran from the NH crash scene, and why SBD had some difficulty recongizing her in pictures that were shown to him.

I read something a long time ago in The Onion, Maura's horoscope for the week of Feb 4, 2004 mentions something about a bottle blond.

I don't know if she ever read this, but I know she liked the newspaper.

Renner is trying to sell books in a missing persons case. If he wants people to by the book the more he writes about Maura and the more he can theorize about what happened to her will create interest.

When someone writes a story about the Titanic it isn't their job to actually raise the Titanic, just like it isn't James' job to find Maura.

I think James does have more information that he isn't sharing because he does have to sell a book at some point.

I think that you are dangerous. Not dangerous smart either, but dangerous stupid. You have no impulse control and always seem to want to have a hand up on everyone else so when you can't get the best of them any other way, you want to use blackmail by threatening to out them. You try to use that to silence people. Well it is likely I know more about how this technology works than you, and better yet I have friends that know more about it than even I do. So please, out me. Your stupid threats won't prevent me from posting, here or on Patric's forum. And if you do scummy things I will tell everyone on the forum that they are scummy things, just like I did when Shack was in her scum phase. Notice how polite she has become? Not brighter, but more polite and her writing style has improved considerably. It appears that she has worked hard these last three missing years improving on her writing style. The scum still isn't completely removed and depending on her behavior she may still need a verbal whack on her snout with a rolled up newspaper to keep her in line. I never had to threaten to out anyone but if necessary I can respond to every one of your posts and I don't need to be as pleasant as I have been.

Oh, and I might be a little less visible, might be, for the next two weeks. I am going on vacation to one of my three houses. I love NH, the people (well most of the people), the mountains, the lakes. So if you don't see me here as often, just imagine me having fun in the wonderful state of NH.

I only remember it being reported that she was seen on the ATM camera, but never who verified that other than the police but not even if the family had verified that or seen the photos. It was also stated that she was alone based upon those pictures. Again, this was all second hand information. I remember it was dripped out on the old MMM forum.

LE often releases to the public a video or CCTV still shot showing the missing person in their last known location. In Maura’s case the last known location appears to be at WB Corner, where she was witnessed by BA the SBD. It’s quite possible that LE didn’t think it was helpful to release the grainy video taken at the ATM machine, which was hours earlier and 140 miles away. There’s probably nothing more (or less) to all of it.

I think that this might be a key reason or motive why she left from school so quickly.

Good Morning Frostman. Good to see you as usual. I have two questions that you can help me with. Did Maura need to pick up the accident reports at the police station before she left, or the DMV or could they be printed out via the web?

Have seen other ID disappeared episodes like Lee Cutler where they show his Walmart footage even though his car and final location was somethere else?

Do you know for sure that the video footage was grainy? In general the bank keeps a camera there to help prosecute and prevent bank fraud. Why would they want a grainy video as evidence that wouldn't be used in court to stop ATM fraud?

Wouldn't they want to protect the name of the ATM location if its needed to prosecute somebody? I don't know if releasing this type of photo will give away the location?

That is a good question as to whether the DMV forms were available on-line in 2004 (IDK) and I’m not certain of the absolute clarity of the ATM footage except that LE stated that it was her and that she appeared to be alone. I personally doubt that there was anything unusual about her appearance in those frames.

LE releases information that they have in order to help solicit information from the public. Perhaps they didn’t feel the MA ATM video would be particularly helpful in sussing out additional info because it was time-stamped and they’d gleaned all the requisite details?

If she was lured or abducted across state lines wouldn’t that be cause to call in the FBI? If she was seen at the ATM machine in MA with an unsub or friend or family member I would think that the video would have been released by LE and been all over the news. Everywhere.

You do start to see the motive behind not releasing the ATM video if her face had marks of a physical damage?

You do see the motive why she had to get away so quickly? To hide her face if she really had damage on it?

You see why if her face had physical marks on the ATM footage why LE becomes completely baffled. Do they share information about her disappearance? Or because of the damage is she running away?
This could put LE in a very weird position because they may need to have to protect her, while at the same time trying to work with family and find her.

I am aware that LE often omits certain information from the public that might only be known to a perp.

If Maura had a black eye or a broken arm in the ATM video I think that LE would have released that information to the public. Don’t you?

Yes but just because they didn't see an abductor in video footage doesn't mean police ruled out a possibility that she could've been followed from the parking lot of ATM. If there's any doubt you would protect the evidence?

I think that if an exterior camera at the bank in MA caught a clip of someone or an automobile they thought was suspicious they would have released it to the general public pronto.
