Elphalba wrote: <quoted text> I have read a lot about this but maybe I missed something. You stated that you believe she is off in the woods somewhere. What in your opinion is the evidence that happened? Or is it more of a gut feeling? Simply based on what we know. There were no screams, no evidence of an abduction, no evidence of more than one set of tracks around the car. People actively watched the car and reported nothing suspicious. It is simply a lack of any evidence that anything happened other than a young lady who was drinking, driving and crashed her car and then ran from the scene. Something repeated hundreds of times a day in this country. That doesn't mean that something didn't happen minutes, hours, days and miles later. It's possible, but no evidence of that has come to light. The simplest scenario that fulfills our known information is that she ran from the scene, likely to avoid prosecution for DUI with no evidence to the contrary. And even if something did happen miles and/or days later, it still doesn't alter the fact that she simply ran from the car crash. Bill

Bring the heat. Judging by James Renner's instagram profile, he's in Hollywood. Interesting. I'm guessing the Maura Murray investigation he is conducting is not the main item on his plate. I wouldn't expect updates anytime soon.

Just me wrote: Its the bus driver ...thats what I think dig deeper there ..he called to distract ... What makes you think so? I think LE would have thoroughly investigated him as the last known person to see her. Too late for any new answers now that he's passed away, but he did go home to his family and call police and then allowed LE to search his property. So I've never thought he killed her.

Same halting disjointed way of writing also. Oh well, there had to be at least one more person who would try to implicate the most examined, and cleared person in this case. Bill

Again, common sense says that if he was a person of interest, would he have been allowed to leave the state? Would he not have been mentioned as a POI? Wouldn't have someone (someone reputable, not Shack) have mentioned he was a POI? Or that he failed a polygraph? It was stated and heard by more than myself that he passed a polygraph. All this happened years ago. Does someone still figure he dragged Maura away from the car while concealing her under his coat and onto the school bus then making a call to the police? I could go on and on about how absurd the concept is but really, if you are making an accusation that he did something. Than the burden of proof is on you, not us, to prove such an accusation. Throughout this entire case there has been no suspect listed or even a person of interest. Does that mean anything to you? It should mean something to any thinking person. Bill

Bill Bill as good as this post is, you probably should not put much time into making a rebuttal off of an argument that originated off of a weak sentence fragment. If someone truly thought it was the bus driver let them put together a logical argument. It was in a sentence fragment because there isn't a strong argument, and now they will try to twist your words to try to add to an argument where the only attempted point.....was....in a fragmented sentence.

If he brought two lawyers with him how would that look?

You are absolutely correct. I suspect that it is just a troll but it was still worth reminding people reading that it is the duty of the accuser to make the case, not the other way around. And you are also correct that it wasn't a strong argument, it actually wasn't an argument they made at all. It was a statement of fact, with nothing to back it up. It was very similar to the turds that Shack would periodically lob over the wall and watch people scurry around running from the stench trying to clean up the mess. And you are also correct that I shouldn't spend much time with them, and actually it takes me very little time to construct those types of posts, I had to do it a lot when Shack was around. It's second nature at this point and can practically do them in my sleep. Bill

I would never be upset with you or anyone that questioned my opinion or my references. Questioning brings about educated discussion. JR makes note of this a couple of times on his blog. Check the 2011 section first. I believe it is there.
