Thanks. A couple months ago I was scared. I did mention in the lecture hall during the debate infront of 100 or so students that my group did research on this forum. Anyone of those students had a 25% chance to take a guess at who I am but they didn't. I am extremely greatful that they didn't. That might have made me upset and probably scared.

A while back I was concerned too and stopped replying for awhile.
I am no longer concerned and have learned that sometimes the shoe fits much better on the other foot.
I'm glad you're no longer scared. No one should feel scared to post on a public forum.

My point was:NO ONE on earth has been cleared.Ever.By LE...unless I missed the memo..As I've said before Ted Bundy&Jeffrey Dahmer seemed like swell townies too..IMHO everyones a suspect until proven otherwise..Including people right here on this board..

I wholeheartedly agree that SBD was most likely not involved in any way..BUT,many men trusted with children arent who they seem to be (scandusky&paterno come to mind)...Im a realist&see no reason to rule out ANYONE..IMHO there are MANY suspects.

If you were never a suspect or person of interest to begin with then why would you need to be cleared of anything? He was never a POI and if you have evidence to the contrary then please post it.
You've stated he was a suspect so it's up to you to back up that statement with proof.

Many posters here have formed their own OPINION of what happened to Maura..Woods,murder,new life etc..
How?With what evidence???And how can anyone be ruled out as a suspect?"He was trusted","He wouldnt hurt his child","skiers are nice","He only hated Liko".None of that proves jack.

The safety issue is that you have no idea who is sitting at their computer and reading your personal information. It's dangerous on ANY public forum, not just this one.
There was someone recently here working very hard to find out posters real identity. Why would they do that?
Think about it and if you really have children be very careful what information you offer, for any sicko that might be reading the forum will also see it.

Not trying to tell you what to do, but I would be very cautious about posting any personal info on this forum. I posted my info here once, as did another friend of mine who used to post here, and we both received creepy phone calls saying to back off, mind your own business, we know where you live, etc. Now I think it was just someone trying to mess with me, but at the time I was afraid for my family's safety.

I've never had that experience anyplace but here. I meet up with people from the internet all the time and post under my real name on most blogs and social networks. This place seems to attract a special kind of crazy, bored person who has nothing to lose.

I can totally understand why many people here are cautious about not wanting their real names put out on this forum. As Wowzer said, you never know what kind of psycho is reading here or what they might do with that info. I'm sure you weren't trying to scare anyone, but maybe now you can understand why some posters might be a little jumpy. It is not just me who stuff like this has happened to.
