Apparently Keyes was associated with the Makah Tribe in WA. Their tribal emblem sort of looks like the window decal seen on the vehicle involved in the Cutshall/Allen murders in Renner, CA.

that is where the whole debacle with James Renner came in when he noted that authorities had accounted for all of the alcohol maura had.(They did not physically gather up the alcohol, they accounted for it meaning they took notes on what was found at the car and what was found on the receipt that was in the car). Not that it really matters where it was, but there was no receipt, unless it was with the groceries that were said to be in the car. Then you'd imagine police would know where she stopped for the food, ie. They said something like " she had enough food in the car to suggest a short getaway" Police did not say snacks, they said food. Who wants to eat food, get drunk and take pills? Nobody smart enough to know the food would hamper the process of bumping yourself off. Might not work and actually make you vomit. I don't know.
I mean, I just don't know that I buy into the mixing of it with alcohol. She needed it to sleep sometimes because of the ham string injury. I guess at some point she could have decided it was one way to get sleepy. But Maura was too smart to take a pill like that just to go to sleep. Tylenol as we all know is not good for you and should be taken wisely.

This posting has a map from one of Keyes properties in Constable NY to a place in Bangor Maine (marked as a known place Keyes goes). There's nothing saying he definitely traveled this route or that he traveled this route during the time Maura disappeared, at least not that I can find.
It looks like they are really grasping at straws here in trying to connect Maura and Brianna just by saying he may have traveled these routes at some point. But I'm glad that they're investigating everything and trying to rule out as much as possible. You just never know.
It's too bad you can't see the whole facebook page, JWB. They have found his military records and have posted some other interesting info that (as far as I can tell) has nothing to do with Maura. But it will be interesting to follow this and see what other missing or murder cases this guy might be involved in.
Like mcsmom, I am also curious whether this is his given name or if he changed it at some point. Military records wouldn't reflect an alias, I don't think, unless he legally changed his name (which is not hard to do).
