I meanit was 8 years ago and even the investigators have said they searched a local sand pit (Healy). My gut tells me that Maura went into hiding and they know it and are trying to protect her. Why else hold back on anything? We are here to try and help right?

It was common knowledge that sandpits were checked and I don't believe anyone was insinuating that anyone with that particular construction company was involved. People are just interested in the scope of the searches that were done.
