Simply Sarcasm - do you think FM minimizes what happened in the hotel room?

JWB, your posts of the past 24 hours are really all over the place. And, you don't normally post that way - what's up?

Few cocktails?:)

I think if you look at the interviews and his accounting of the events it sounds and looks like he is holding some important information back.

Then you have to ask - how did she get into the room - how did you keep on sleeping when the tow truck was outside.

If you look at his statement to LE - he still says he was asleep the whole night. Why is it so important for him to tell everyone he was just sleeping?

JR's website makes reference to FM's cellphone bill for that day. Doesn't it show activity at 5:30 or 6:30 that morning. He claims to be in bed till 10AM. Then when he was told about the crash, it wasn't a big deal.

I think this is the biggest part of the case, and it is the most hazy. I don't think any of this has to point to foul play, but if MM was going through some hard times and got into a fight with her biggest supporter that could have set her over the edge and made her want to leave.

I think a lot of parents might yell or lecture their child for causing $8000 or $10000 of damages to their car. Something like "What were you thinking? Werent you drinking at the party? You could have killed yourself or someone else? How am going to get back home for work?" Then later calm down and resolve the situation and realize its not that big of a deal. Of course if your kid then later goes missing you might feel guilty and not admit you overreacted because you feel bad about it.

Great Point Amy- Why would fred give maura his car if she had been drinking but then again his judgement may have been impaired also. It still doesn't explain what really happened.

Today- I saw an elderly lady who is a spittin image of my mom and I asked her if I could give her a hug and she said yes. I later explained why the hug and she smiled and told me thank you for making her day. I told her that she made my day and her son told me that was a testament to my mother and that I was a good person.

I know this is way off topic but i was asked what is up and this is what is up. I wear my emotions on my sleeve and put myself out there hence exposed to hurt and pain in the end.

I was questioned why am here by a poster and this may explain why.

I am sure Fred sugar coated what went down that night because in his mind he thought that it had nothing to do with her dissapearing but it may have if she left for a new life etc...

Does anyone know what type of relationship maura had with her mom? The reason I ask is if she had a great relationship with her mom it sure would be tough for her to stay away when her mom was ill and passed.

At this point if someone did give her a ride do you think they would ever come forward? People are throwing foul play all over this forum and would only love to get a person to attach the theory to. Even if it was just an innocent ride to the bus stop that persons life would be ruined.
I'm talking about how if someOne gave her a ride it's likely that they've never even heard of mm or have any idea she is missing. Most people in NH have never even heard of this case so I'd this person was from ct or ny or nj its very likely they've never heard of this or have any idea she went missing.

The whole premise that people's lives have been ruined is laughable, it's obviously total bullshit. Sbd got it the worst by far and his life was not ruined at all. He was still a sbd and was able to retire to Florida. According to everyone who's local he was a respected member of the community who was still trusted with their children, so obviously his life was not ruined by any stretch of the imagination. I think some people confuse these boards with real life and think they're a lot more important than they really are. There has even been people on here who have tried to attribute his death to online posts, which is just completely ridiculous. The guy weighed 350 and was in his 60's; anybody tryin to link his heart attack to online posts is either not very smart, or not being honest. That is a ridiculous thing to say on many different levels.
Also, it's not like people randomly chose this guy to jump on, he told multiple versions of events and truly looked like he was hiding something. He brought the whole thing on himself, nobody ever questioned the wman's or the myotte's in the slightest, their story never changed.
Nobody is just going to randomly choose someone. There is a person, the guy from the "prominent family" who some people, myself included, think could potentially be a suspect. His name was posted one time and everyone jumped on the poster for doing that. Nobody is out to ruin anyone's life and that's not gonna happen.

I think most people would bring their info to LE if they had it, I could see them maybe not wanting it spoken about publicly but that's a very different thing than bringing it to Le.

I should clarify that by "run away" I meant leave for NH without telling anyone, not run away and start a new life. That is possible but not what I meant.

JWB didn't she live with her mom growing up? I didn't always have the best relationship with mom, but when she got sick I still came to take care of her. I think it would be really hard to stay away with her mom sick.

Bob- agree about that nobody knows about Maura being missing etc. I didn't know about and I am 20 miles away from the crash . When I talk to some about it, they will say who?? I think it needs to be brought back out again either newspapers or flyers.

I would gladly put up posters when I'm finally back up NH in a couple weeks.
Honestly I think that should be done and it should be done now before it's too late.
The only MMM posters I've ever seen were the ones that were posted on telephone poles on 113 a few years ago, I always wondered why I never saw more. I know the family said that the put them up all over immediately following her dissapearance but I never saw any ever, and I followed this case since the beginning.
There very well could be someone out there that innocently gave her a ride that night and has no idea she subsequently went missing. We know that there were at least a few cars that went by, including the driver or the red truck, that we have never heard from. The red truck was spotted on the side of BHR with its door open, this person is potentially a critical witness as to what happened that night.
Something needs to be done to break the stalemate that this case has become, posters could be a good start. Without tips from the public this case likely will never be solved. It seems pretty likely that someone knows something that could be important.
Posters could be important because it's a sad fact that most NH residents have no idea Maura is missing.
Hi Jenkins - I agree with both your posts 100%. I have two beautiful daughters that I love with all my heart. I would not want this to be their legacy, but rather the good works that has been done by the family.

Amy- those were my words runaway etc---

In response to maura with mom/ sure I am sure she lived with her mom but it seems like she was best buddies with dad. I am not sure of the family dynamics, just because she lived with her mom doesn't mean they had a good relationship.
