I just had to laugh - I had started to compose the same post when I saw your response. It's so perfect.

But I agree with FrmLE, this is just a total and complete waste of everybody's time. Despite repeated requests, some of which were very polite, with people trying to be helpful, even Bill in the quote above, Jenkins will not limit his posts in length or number. He has again taken over this thread - it is all about Jenkins. He has to be the center of attention here. I love the adding of a half-foot to his snow depth now, I noticed that too.

Please, somebody, fly a flag or something when he disappears for a while. I actually came here to discuss Maura Murray, not to spend all my time trying to refute all the inaccuracies that Jenkins flings out here.

Lol, actually it was the sbd who said there was 2.5' of snow, he was quoted in an early news report. There was another news report that also said 2.5' of snow and from what I remember from that winter that sounds about right.

Sbd got the short end of the stick, but he also told at least three different versions of events, his details constantly changing. I don't remember anyone ever questioning the wman's or the mayotte's, do you? Their story was fairly consistent, fw's story has changed slowly over the years but that's not neccesarily lying.
The sbd brought the things said about him on himself, how hard is it to honestly say what happened in a 5 minute window??

And yes some people questioned sbd's involvement, rightfully so, but there was always someone there who corrected things said and it was always clear reading those forums that the sbd really didn't have anything to do with it, he was just either a liar or an idiot.

The sbd and the cw got it by far the worst, above and beyond anyone else, and people still always made sure to state they weren't true suspects, maybe not shack herself, but someone always would correct any true accusations.
Back then nobody would EVER use their real names though, so yes some stupid shit was said but it was always done at least some what responsibly. There was never anyone who said "BA murdered MM". Didn't happen.

When I came back to this forum after not posting for a couple years I was absolutely shocked to see people now using sbd's and cw's real names an initials, I feel that is wrong.

And I most certainly was on the old MM forum and in the MMM forum, you are blatantly over exaggerating what was said I can say that for an absolute fact.

A few months ago someone posted how to view the old forum, it was locked but you could still read it, I believe it was frostman who posted how to find it.
If anyone knows how to find the old forum please let us know, If anyone is questioning if I was really on there i invite them to please go look for themselves because wowzer is pretty much full of shit on this one. What she's saying is true to an extent, but she is extremely over exaggerating the situation. She just thinks those old forums can't be dug up, as of about 5 months ago they still could be I'm sure they still can.

There is another article that directly quotes the sbd saying there was 2.5' of snow on the ground. Same article he also states that he believes she got a ride from one of the cars he saw drive past his house that night.
So weird how you guys seem to always have something completely different to say then witnesses who've spoken on record. Why should anyone believe an anonymous Internet poster over someone who has spoken on record and given their name??

There's even more people that don't watch the news, or rarely do..
& the FBI didn't exactly get out of it, actually they tried to get Into it. They offered their help to the NHSP and their help was refused.

Bob, I don't think Fred is responsible in anyway. I still stick to my theory of her running away with the likely reasons I suggested. However, if she did run away on that night, and is responsible for the hit and run, she would have no idea if it was investigated or not. In her mind she may feel like she's a wanted woman and scared to return. According to reports he was left for dead, which means she fled the scene of the hit and run, so she probably doesn't even know his outcome. She just may think she hit someone with her car and killed them. And even the mere guilty feeling of being responsible for a death would be enough to make someone run far away and never come back....never look at the Amherst scenery again.

As for the point about her not attending her mother's funeral,
...if she did runaway and disengaged herself from her family completely, she may not have any idea of her mother's passing, may not have any care of her mother's passing, and if she did care that may be the last place she would go if she thought people were looking for her. I'd imagine some form of LE or FBI or even magazine was at the mother's funeral on the look for a Maura sighting

I just don't believe her to be murdered. 99% of the world would probably assist a girl stranded on the side of the road with good intentions, but it's the 1% of bad apples that the media hypes up and writes about that make us fear the worst possible outcome of any scenario. I think the odds of that 1% finding her at the very moment she was on the road, is slim. However, kidnappers do exist, murderers do exist, psychos do exist, so that thought must always be entertained. And even if my theory of her meeting a man from a dating sight holds water, there's psychos on those sights as well. However, I think she ran off on her own, had some help in doing so, and that someone knows about isn't saying a word to cover her ass.

I believe she started the site and was the moderater and when the bashing of people and using their real names got out of control she was worried about losing her house/home that she lived in to a lawsuit. Shack was sent many time to the virtual TOT tent to cool down when she got too nasty.
There were times here on Topix that I asked why no one stopped her and I was told that no one could tell another what to say or not to say.

I have been "conversing" with someone that has convinced me that it will be unhelpful and wrong to post all the negative things that were said by a certain person. There is also a very good reason not to post it. I have to agree.

Wowzer This is just silly, i was never asking you to repost any bad remarks that have been said.

I think you've over exaggerated how bad it was but I'm also not from your town, your obviously going to take some things that were said way more personally than someone else might, so it clearly up for debate as to how bad it was and it's likely people from out of town and someone who lives in town might not ever agree on it.

But that is never what I was asking for, I was asking bill for some sort of evidence that the area has been "poisoned" by said remarks. I see absolutely no evidence that any remarks have actually been translated into any legitimate real world effects. Bill is constantly crying about shack like she is the spawn of the devil, personally I think he is clearly a very insecure person, he obviously needs to be talking shit about someone to make himself feel better & Shack is just an easy target for him. It's actually pretty sad that anyone is so insecure about themselves that they need to talk shit to &/or about other people online. Hey wowzer, judging from this post you obviously know how to still find the old forum. Like 5 months ago someone posted a way to get access to it, since you said "give me 30 minutes" you obviously know how to still access it.
